Top 10 Most Annoying Featured Artists in Songs

These artists have the ability to ruin an otherwise decent song with either their voices or their lyrics, or in many cases both.

But they seem to be featured on every single modern artist's album for some strange reason.

The Top Ten
  1. Chris Brown

Christopher Maurice "Chris" Brown (born May 5, 1989) is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, and actor. Born in Tappahannock, Virginia, he participated in his church choir and several local talent shows from a young age. He gained international notoriety in 2009 for his physical assault of singer... read more

Any time I see this clown's name appear on someone's album, it makes me less interested in listening to the album. I just don't see why every rapper thinks this guy's horrible autotuned whiny voice is appealing. I can't understand why every song with him on the hook becomes a hit.

One of the most successful artists in songs on the Hot 100 as a lead or featured artist with 95. Of course, if we specifically restrict it to songs that are utter trash, he could well be number 1 or 2, I would guess. Where would you guess?

  2. Ty Dolla $ign

Tyrone William Griffin Jr., born April 13, 1982, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He first gained major recognition in 2010 for his feature on YG's "Toot It and Boot It", a song he also wrote and produced for Def Jam Recordings. In the summer of 2013, he signed a record... read more

This guy is terrible and can't sing at all. He's even worse than Chris Brown at singing and hardly has a big following, but still is used when Chris Brown or Jeremih aren't available, I guess.

  3. Cardi B

Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar (born October 11, 1992), known professionally as Cardi B, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and actress. She was born and raised in New York City and first gained attention through Vine and Instagram. From 2015 to 2017, she appeared as a cast member on the VH1 reality... read more

She turned Girls Like You from a bland nothing song to something even worse. I changed my mind, although I still think her guest verse was pretty bad. I find the rest of the song so worthless that it actually somehow improves it. I'm glad that I don't listen to the radio and don't really have to hear any of the songs these artists are featured on.

Along with French Montana and Gunna, Cardi B is one of the worst rappers when it comes to features. Her worst feature ever was on Lil Nas X's Rodeo, where she ruined the song completely. The only decent feature she has ever done was on No Limit.

  4. French Montana

Karim Kharbouch, known by his stage name French Montana, is an American rapper. He was born in Morocco and moved to the United States with his family at the age of 13. He gained prominence in the early 2010s and is known for hits such as Unforgettable and collaborations with artists like Swae Lee and... read more

What did Puff Daddy ever see in this guy? Probably one of the worst rappers in the game. In a modern age where talent matters less and less, barely anything changes lyrically or subject-matter wise. Why did he call himself French Montana if he is not part French and not from Montana? Perhaps we will never know. Also, I can't stand his excessive ad-libbing.

This man is the king of ruining people's songs with his boring and uninspired verses. He ruined both the Work and No Limit remixes.

  5. Jeremih

Jeremih Felton, better known by his mononym Jeremih, is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, and record producer. In 2009, he signed a recording contract with Def Jam Recordings. That same year, he released his debut single Birthday Sex, which peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100, and followed... read more

This guy hasn't had a hit in years but still appears on so many rap songs as a feature, even though his voice is so boring and is just a combination of other singers. He's who you get when Chris Clown or Trey Songz aren't available. Essentially, he's the R&B version of French Montana.

This guy is an outdated banana split.

  6. Future

Nayvadius DeMun Cash (born November 20, 1983), known professionally as Future, is an American rapper, singer-songwriter, and record producer. Recognized for his mumble-styled vocals and prolific output, Future is credited with pioneering the use of Auto-Tuned melodies in hip-hop and trap music. Due to... read more

This guy has an even worse voice than Travis Scott, but thankfully isn't used as much.

  7. Iggy Azalea

Amethyst Amelia Kelly, born June 7, 1990, and known professionally as Iggy Azalea, is an Australian rapper, singer, songwriter, and model. She gained international recognition with her debut single Work and her hit Fancy featuring Charli XCX. Azalea has released several studio albums and mixtapes and... read more

I don't know who would actually think that getting Iggy Azalea as a feature is a good idea.

Who would honestly want to feature this untalented, nasal woman?

  8. Kodak Black

Bill K. Kapri, better known by his stage name Kodak Black, is an American rapper. He is known for hit singles such as "No Flockin", "Tunnel Vision", and "Roll in Peace". In addition to his music career, he has gained attention for his legal issues and frequent run-ins with law enforcement.

This man did the worst featured verse of all time on A Boogie wit da Hoodie's Drowning and ruined the great song with his terrible bars about farting.

  9. Quavo

Quavious Keyate Marshall, known professionally as Quavo, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is best known as a member of the former rap trio Migos, alongside Offset and the late Takeoff. Quavo has also released solo music and collaborated with various artists across hip-hop... read more

  10. Travis Scott

Jacques Webster Jr., better known by his stage name Travis Scott, is an American hip hop recording artist, record producer, and musician from Houston, Texas. He has released several chart-topping albums and is known for his high-energy performances and innovative production style. He has collaborated... read more

While Travis makes great music when he is the main artist, his features in 2019 have not been great. Both his features on Chopstix and Celebrate were pretty bad.

I like the boy Travis Scott, but he's way better as a main artist than a feature. His features in 2019 have been his weakest ones yet. *cough cough* Chopstix *cough cough*

"Yeah!" "Oh my God!" "It's lit!" "Straight up!" Jesus, just shut up already! I can't stand Travis, if you couldn't tell.

  11. The Newcomers
  12. ?

    Westside Gunn

It seems that many modern rap albums feature at least one of these three artists, or in many cases, all three of them: Rick Ross, Freddie Gibbs, and someone from Griselda. This guy definitely annoys me the most, for obvious reasons.

  13. ?

    T-Pain

Faheem Rashad Najm, better known by his stage name T-Pain, is an American recording artist and music producer from Tallahassee, Florida. He gained fame in the mid-2000s for his use of Auto-Tune and his blend of hip-hop and R&B. T-Pain has won multiple Grammy Awards and released several successful albums... read more

He released his debut mixtape Lil Boat in March 2016, which helped establish... read more

  16. Gunna

Gunna is like Lil Baby from Walmart. While Lil Baby is not a great rapper, Gunna takes it to a whole new level with his boring vocals and lazy lyrics. In every song he features on, he sounds exactly the same.

Gunna is a Walmart and watered-down Young Thug with no personality. Who knows why he's on so many songs when he's so boring?

  17. Drake

Aubrey Drake Graham (born October 24, 1986) is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor from Toronto. He first gained public attention as an actor on the Canadian series Degrassi: The Next Generation before launching a music career. Drake's become one of the world's best-selling... read more

He's pretty generic, but overall he has saved more songs than ruined them, like No Stylist.

  18. Camila Cabello

Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao, professionally known as Camila Cabello (born March 3, 1997), is a Cuban-American singer and songwriter. She gained fame as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, which was formed on the second season of The X Factor USA in 2012. Fifth Harmony became known for hit songs... read more

She began her music career in 2003 by recording demo tapes with producer Evan Rogers and eventually signed with Def Jam Records after an audition for Jay-Z. Rihanna... read more

T.I.'s Live Your Life would've been a perfect song if it wasn't for her annoying autotuned vocals. And don't even get me started on that overplayed Love the Way You Lie. That was the most overplayed song of summer 2010.

Aaah man, here we go again! She should just concentrate on her business or businesses. Torture to my ears I don't need.

Blow your nose, although it won't make a difference! Simple mathematics.

  22. Justin Bieber

Justin Drew Bieber (born March 1, 1994) is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and record producer. He currently resides in Ontario, Canada, and is Christian. He is the son of Pattie Mallette, an author.

In 2008, Tyga signed a recording contract with Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records, and Republic Records. His major label debut album Careless World: Rise of the Last King... read more

His verses are so dull. Tyga barely has any personality, and the song usually sounds more boring with him. They're better than his songs, which isn't saying very much because his songs are lifeless.

  24. Keri Hilson

Keri Lynn Hilson is an American singer, songwriter, and actress from Decatur, Georgia. She began her career working with producer Anthony Dent as a songwriter and background vocalist for various R&B and hip‑hop artists. She later released her own solo material, including hit singles like Knock You Down... read more

She was good on The Way I Are by Timbaland, but mostly everything else she was on, her voice was annoying and squeaky.

Her only good feature was on The Way I Are, and everything else was irritating.

  25. Lil Wayne

Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. is an American rapper from New Orleans, Louisiana. He gained recognition with his 2014 major-label debut album These Things Happen, which peaked at number three on the Billboard 200. G-Eazy is also known for hits such as... read more

G-Eazy is not awful, honestly. He just lacks so much character, has no personality, or is just uninteresting.

This guy is just a very bland and uninteresting combination of many other better rappers.

G-Eazy's verses are not really bad, but they are very forgettable, and he lacks personality.

  27. Normani

Normani Kordei Hamilton (born May 31, 1996), known mononymously as Normani, is an American singer and dancer best known as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony. She gained attention for her soulful cover renditions of songs such as Drake's "Fake Love" and Tory Lanez's "Say It." In February 2018,... read more

She is honestly very underwhelming. The only reason they are putting her in songs is so she can get a big hit. That's why she's credited as one of the main artists rather than "featuring."

  28. 2 Chainz

Tauheed Epps, known by his stage name 2 Chainz and formerly Tity Boi, is an American rapper from College Park, Georgia. He began his career in the southern rap duo Playaz Circle with Dolla Boy before launching a solo career. He is known for songs such as No Lie, Birthday Song, Spend It, It's a Vibe,... read more

He ruined "Don't Bring Me Down" by 8Ball. His lyrics were alright, but his voice was so annoying, and he ruined the chill vibe of the song. He was better when he was in Playaz Circle, but even then he had some bad lines.

This guy sucks and he refuses to grow up. The guy is in his 40s and keeps making songs like a 16-year-old.

  29. Jay-Z

Shawn Corey Carter, known professionally as JAY-Z, is an American rapper, record producer, entrepreneur, and investor born December 4, 1969, in Brooklyn, New York.
