Best Biffy Clyro Songs

The Top Ten
1 Many of Horror

By far my favorite Biffy song. So powerful. Matthew Cardle has nothing on the original version.

Best powerful chords, meaningful lyrics, and a huge impact on my life. Biffy ruled.

Amazing tune! Really is their best song. Way better than Matt Cardle's version!

2 Bubbles

This song simply makes me happy. It reminds me of a part of my life where I took bliss in everything, and Biffy helped me with that.

All-time favorite Biffy song. It's just so bouncy and happy. I'll sing along every time I hear it played! It really gets everyone going at gigs too.

3 The Captain

Easily their best song, but it's also the one they perform live best. I love the beat in this song. Number one.

Immense song. Makes me think of festivals and live music.

4 Black Chandelier

Just an amazing song, should definitely be top three, if not the top. Such a brilliant song with a fantastic verse and stunning chorus. This is Biffy at their best, and even though it's off their new album, this is all Biffy stands for. Biffy's number one song!

Absolutely beautiful song off their new album, Opposites. I remember when I first heard it, I was just blown away!

When you are new to Biffy Clyro, this is all you want to hear for months. Absolutely brilliant.

5 Mountains

Absolutely amazing song. "I took a bite out a mountain range, I thought my teeth would break, the mountain did." Fantastic.

The simplicity yet strength of the lyrics: Nothing lasts forever, except you and me. Mon the Biff!

Strong and sweet at the same time. I love the video too!

6 Biblical

Great song. The chorus is so well-structured in how it builds. They manage to write arena-sized rock anthems without trading in their soul, a rarity in a band these days.

Got the album for Christmas when I'd heard Many of Horror. This is the track I turn up to full blast. Pity it took me so long to hear about such a great Scottish band.

One of the best songs from Biffy. It has such a nice chorus and is possibly the best song on the album Opposites.

7 That Golden Rule

Everything about this song is just epic. There are countless tracks I love by Biffy Clyro, but if forced to single one song out, I have to go with this powerful cut. It crushes live too.

This is basically the song that really got me into Biffy Clyro. So heavy and the drumming is immense. I absolutely love it. Definitely number one for me.

No words can describe the best track of the pretty much best live band next to Muse and Kasabian. Just wait for the bridge!

8 Living is a Problem Because Everything Dies

If John Lennon wrote a song in 2007, it would be Living is a Problem.

9 57
10 Space

A powerful emotional ballad with sweet and sincere lyrics. Simon's strong vocals really resonate here. Definitely a highlight for me.

The Contenders
11 Wolves of Winter
12 All the Way Down

It's hard to choose which is the best Biffy song, but All the Way Down is just six minutes of unbelievable music. One of the best songs of all time without a shadow of a doubt. It's just a pity that it's on their second album, which hardly anybody seems to have heard!

What is this song doing all the way down here? Eh, see what I did there?

13 A Tragic World Record
14 Opposite

This song is the best I have ever heard. It's so emotional and sounds beautiful. I can't believe it's not in the top 10!

15 Justboy

Seriously powerful tune! Makes you feel incredible every single time you listen to it, and it never gets old or boring.

A bit heavier than their newer stuff but very good.

16 Questions and Answers
17 Folding Stars
18 Children's Limbs
19 Machines

Why isn't this higher!? It's got some of the best lyrics Simon Neil has ever written.

About the death of his mother. Touching.

20 God & Satan

The lyrics to this are purely amazing. The best song ever. I fell in love with this song, and it will always be my favorite.

This song is truly beautiful and one of the first songs I heard from Biffy. Overall, it is a well-written song.

As a songwriter, I really hope to write something half this good someday.

21 Stingin' Belle

Saw them close Reading '16 with this. I was 17, just finishing my first festival, feeling on top of the world, and miraculously stone-cold sober, but I didn't care! I spent the first half of the set on my own, and then my best friend just popped out of the crowd in front of me and spent the rest of the (insane) set with me. It was meant to be.

When the fireworks went off in the chaos after the bagpipes, I felt higher and happier than I ever had or probably ever will. I went so wild I ripped my dirty pants off my head and threw them into the crowd while screaming, "I love you, Biffy." So yeah, just has to be my number one.

22 Saturday Superhouse
23 North of No South
24 Booooom, Blast & Ruin
25 Who's Got a Match?

Awesome song. Just creates an intense atmosphere - live or in your living room!

Everyone can sing along with this awesome anthem!

Love this song. It's super catchy!
