Best Foreigner Songs

The greatest songs from one of the best classic rock groups.
The Top Ten
1 I Want to Know What Love Is

This is my favorite song of all time. This song just brings out some indescribable feelings in me. I never get bored listening to this song. Its composition and lyrics are awesome.

I first heard this song sung by Jamar Rogers and Jamie Lono on The Voice 2, and I thought, Hey, the lyrics are kinda cool. I felt the song was good. So, I went on YouTube and searched for the original song, which was even better. Phenomenal.

Hands down their #1 song. This band makes songs of epic proportions. Lou Gramm and the band made some of the best music in the late 70s and 80s, but they never get their respect. When you listen to songs like this, it makes you wonder how they aren't in the Hall of Fame yet!

I Want to Know What Love Is is my favorite Foreigner song!

2 Waiting for a Girl Like You

Foreigner is a great rock and roll band, first and foremost, but this ballad is one of Lou Gramm's finest vocals. A beautiful and haunting song and, to my mind, vastly superior to "I Want to Know What Love Is."

If I had a unique wish, I'd choose to attend one of Lou's amazing concerts. But I'm only a 90s kid who couldn't get born a couple of decades ago when life was good.

Should be higher rated. When I look for a Foreigner song, I look for this one.

3 Juke Box Hero

Still a bop! Such a good tune to throw on and get those good music feelings going! Its build-up instrumental is so enjoyable. It feels like you're reaching the top of something until the chorus.

By far their best song! In order to write a song like that, you need to be a musical genius! Not many songs tell a story like that. I am 12 years old, and I have attended concerts by Foreigner, Journey, Asia, 38 Special, and more!

What an awesome song. I think Mick was telling his story on this one, adding his searing guitar to Lou's soaring vocals. Excellent arrangement as well.

4 Urgent

Such a great song, relatable to all age groups. Regardless of whether you were alive and well when it came out or not even born then, it is a truly timeless classic that everyone can groove to.

Their best song, #1. Killer riff, and that sax solo is incredible. It was my first ringtone, and the reaction of people around me was, "Wow! Who plays this song?"

I think this should be close to #1, #2, or #3 because it's such an awesome song to dance to.

5 Cold as Ice

One of the best songs for me by Foreigner. It's my second favorite song by them! It has a great melody. It's everything.

Voted for "I Want to Know What Love Is," but this is also a great Foreigner song.

Amazing piano riff, great vocals, and incredible guitar solo.

6 Feels Like the First Time

This was the song that introduced most of us to them. I remember the first time I heard this song. We were on our way up a slope, and while I was climbing a mountain, we all laughed so hard until we got to the top. The song became a regular thing after that, and still today, we sing the song going up that slope.

The lyrics are full of meaning! The chorus is also very catchy. I actually find myself singing this in my head almost all the time. Simply amazing!

#10? My god, this is pathetic! Best from their debut and a top 5 guaranteed song.

7 Hot Blooded

One of the greatest rock riffs since Cat Scratch Fever!

This is my favorite. Couldn't stop singing this as a kid!

Great song that gets you in a good mood.

8 That Was Yesterday

Their best song without a doubt. Just marvelous!

9 Double Vision

Really awesome song! I love the riff and the vocals and everything. It is just a good song.

Greatest rock song I've ever heard in my cold life.

I love the peaceful instrumental sequence. It sounds like a baby lullaby song.

10 Dirty White Boy

GTA 5 elevated this song for me as it was on its rock radio station, but it's good.

Not even in the top 10? This song kicks so much ass.

The Contenders
11 Head Games

This needs to be top five. It's my favorite.

12 Long, Long Way from Home

Such a great song. The worst part is when it ends.

13 I Don't Want to Live Without You

Very emotional and beautiful song by Foreigner.

14 Blue Morning, Blue Day

Such a great song. I just saw these guys in concert at the Calvin Theatre in Northampton, MA. Too bad they didn't play this.

This is definitely their best riff ever.

Maybe their best guitar riff ever.

15 Say You Will

HOW is THIS SONG not in the top 10?!

"Say you will, say you won't / make up your mind tonight.
Say you do, say you don't / wanna be mine.
Say you will, say you won't / make up your mind this time.
Say you will, say you will / be mine tonight."

Come on, people! Vote!

I'm with you, people. This song is way too low.

This is my favorite Foreigner song. Very upset it's not in the top 10.

16 Heart Turns to Stone

Another great Foreigner song, though honestly, I find almost anything by Foreigner to be good.

Amazing song, should be in the top 10. The chorus is great.

17 Until the End of Time
18 Starrider

This is such an amazing song. One of their best and one of my favorites without a doubt. So great and so underrated. This song needs more recognition.

This song is not that well known, but it showcases a guitar solo that rivals that of Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb. Mick is the best!

Their most beautiful song with cool vocals and solo.

19 Girl On the Moon

So beautiful and mesmerizing. This song needs more credit and recognition.

Needs to be much higher. This is a great song.

20 Break It Up
21 Reaction to Action
22 Blinded by Science

It wasn't even on the list, and I added it. One of the best rock ballads ever.

23 Rev on the Red Line

Awesome song, not very well known, though. This is one of my favorites to listen to.

Best song on Foreigner's most underrated album.

Solid Foreigner song right here.

24 Night Life
25 Prisoner of Love

Excellent guitar solo! Just excelsior!
