2 The Black Keys
The Black Keys is an American indie rock and blues rock duo formed in Akron, Ohio in 2001 by Dan Auerbach (vocals, guitar) and Patrick Carney (drums).
The band has often been compared to The White Stripes as they are also an indie rock duo, that works with low fidelity equipment.
The band is most well-known for their 2011 album "El Camino", which contained some if the bands most well-known songs and earned two Grammys. Their style is rare and it keeps me coming back for more.
Every album is unique and original and they are absolutely fantastic to listen to
3 Tenacious D
Tenacious D is an American comedy rock duo that was formed in Los Angeles, California in 1994. Composed of lead vocalist and guitarist Jack Black and lead guitarist and vocalist Kyle Gass, the band has released three albums – Tenacious D, The Pick of Destiny and Rize of the Fenix. They are so good. Go on YouTube and look up deth starr live at blizzcon. listen to the whole thing minus the end. You may say it isn't two people, but they have done concerts with just them. they are VERY good so don't pissed that they are one. it is debatable, and I could win the argument most likely.
Tenacious D: Jack Black and Kyle Gass, and sometimes featuring Dio and Dave Grohl. And the Pick of Destiny is my favorite rock related movie, next to School of Rock and The End of the End
4 Twenty One Pilots
Twenty One Pilots is an American musical duo that is originally from Columbus, Ohio, who are best known for their songs "Stressed Out", "Heathens" and "Ride". Twenty one pilots was not my favorite until Trench came out and it became my favorite band. Me and my friends go to each other's houses and sing with some of the songs and listen to it when we plays video games. I would say this is the best band ever.
I've been a fan for a long time, and I have to say twenty one pilots is AMAZING! Their lyrics have meaning, and Tyler and Josh are great people in general!
Always the best of the best. Josh and Tyler are the people who keep me alive.
They are hands down the best band of the century.
5 Simon And Garfunkel
Simon & Garfunkel were an American folk rock duo consisting of singer-songwriter Paul Simon and singer Art Garfunkel. Simon and Garfunkel are truly one of the greatest gifts God has ever given to us... Deep lyrics and soothing music

This deserves votes!
7 Matt And Kim
8 Tears for Fears
Tears for Fears are an English pop/rock band formed in 1981 by Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith. Founded after the dissolution of their first band, the mod-influenced Graduate, they were initially associated with the new wave synthesizer bands of the early 1980s but later branched out into mainstream rock and pop, which led to international chart success. Been listening since 1985, since Shout and Everybody Wants to Rule the World (the Dennis Miller theme) came out. I thought they folded, but recently found out they're going on tour in 2019. What rock have I been under?
9 Local H
In my opinion, Local H isn't only the best 2 piece bands, they're one of the best bands to combine grunge and plain old rock to create hard hitting tunes. They really resonate with me at least. They could very easily be the textbook definition of rock.
Their live sets inspire riots!
10 Royal Blood
Royal Blood are an English rock duo formed in Brighton, East Sussex, in 2013. The band's sound is reminiscent of and rooted in modern blues rock, hard rock, garage rock and psychedelic rock. If you see them live, you would put them at number 1. I've been listening to them since they opened up for foo fighters in Camden, NJ. But when my number 1 favorite band "Queens of the Stone Age" announced a tour, it said royal blood is opening up for them in festival pier. I immediately got tickets. 3 months later, they played their set, and I was front row! Both bands kicked absolute ass. Royal blood is now my second favorite band.
The best: bluesy, dirty modern rock with a hint of metal. You haven't lived until you've heard their debut album.
How the hell are they not in the top 5?
The best band of the past 3 years.
