Top 10 Best Headphones Brands

When it comes to headphones, you've got choices. So many, in fact, that it can feel like a game of audio roulette. Do you go with the brand known for chest-rattling bass? The one with crisp mids and highs that make it feel like the band set up shop in your living room? Or maybe you're after that pure, flat studio sound engineers swear by.

This list is your chance to weigh in. Vote for the brands that have given your ears the best listening experience. Maybe it's the over-ear set that saved you on a 10-hour flight. Or the wireless buds that survived gym sweat, rain, and a washing machine incident. Whatever earned your loyalty, let it show.

The Top Ten
  1. Sennheiser

Founded in 1945, Sennheiser is a German audio company known for its headphones, microphones, and professional audio solutions. The brand offers both consumer and studio-grade headphones including open-back and noise-canceling models. It is headquartered in Wedemark, Germany.

Sennheiser, honestly without a doubt, has the best sound quality for the best price. They are completely better than Dr. Dre Beats. My $70 Sennheiser HD 429s have much more quality than the Beats Executive. Trust me, one of my friends who has the Executives said he would rather have the Sennheisers.

The sound is the clearest you can get and has amazing, warm, crisp bass. But if you're looking for a little more powerful bass on your headphones, don't worry - just download an equalizer, and that can be easily fixed.

No doubt, it is a real German brand. In India, its range starts from $12 to $45k. The brand offers a unique and decent sound quality with a great balance between treble and bass.

No fake bass like Beats, Sony, Bose, Skullcandy, etc.

Seriously? Why isn't this higher up? Tell me one other headphone brand that has spent around 30 years perfecting its bass output. I will admit that they aren't the only headphones with great bass, but they offer it at a great price range and for every budget.

I have JBL T450 BTs, and I use them for everything. I'm actually listening to music right now with them connected to my iPad. JBL rules.

Why is this not ranked higher? They make good sound quality.

Beats, number 7? They should be number one. If you actually coughed up the money, you would agree. I have the Studio 2 and the Solo 2 Wireless, and I couldn't be happier.

I've got to tell you, I'm a fan of Beats. I wish I had all the Beats collections. All I have are the old Beats: Beats Studio, Pill, and iBeats. My friends tell me that Bose is the best, but I don't think so. I enjoy Beats.
