Why did he have to make "Yummy"? That ruined the entire "he's so much better now" thing. Who's next, Shawn Mendes going from songs like "Treat You Better" (my 7th worst of 2016) to "In My Blood" (my 8th best of 2018) to something like "Yummy" itself?

Purpose was a good album, but he kind of went downhill again.

4 Fall Out Boy Fall Out Boy is an American pop punk band formed in Wilmette, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, in 2001. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Patrick Stump, bassist Pete Wentz, guitarist Joe Trohman, and drummer Andy Hurley.

The first two albums were decent pop punk/emo pop. Then they made Infinity on High and Folie à Deux and found some personality, mixing pop punk and emo-ish lyrics with funk and pop. But after that, they just made whatever they felt would get them attention.

Save Rock and Roll and American Beauty/American Psycho were pretty successful, but MANIA almost killed their career. It was critically panned and didn't produce any chart-topping singles, except maybe Young and Menace, but only for a week.

If albums were the only factor, Queen wouldn't even be a top band. But obviously, there are other factors that put them among the greatest bands. They have a lot of talent and a bunch of great songs. But none of Queen's albums are very good by any means, apart from Sheer Heart Attack and A Night at the Opera.

13 The 1975 The 1975 are an English pop-rock band originating from Manchester. The group consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Matthew "Matty" Healy, lead guitarist Adam Hann, bassist Ross MacDonald, and drummer George Daniel.

They started doing modern indie with a lot of post-punk elements during their first two albums. But after the third one, they did something really weird, trying to be experimental and mixing a lot of styles just to be considered the new Radiohead.

By their latest album, they felt more like mixing just whatever they made at the studio and giving an album out of it, making it extremely long and oversaturated. Even critics started to notice, resulting in little acclaim and success.
