Top 10 Best Maximum the Hormone Songs
Originating from Japan, Maximum the Hormone, infamous for its eccentric and high-energy performances, represents a fusion of metal, punk, and pop that is both chaotic and harmonious. Each of their songs is like a roller coaster ride of explosive sound, eccentric lyrics, and intricate compositions that leave you wanting more.People say don't vote for this just because it's in an anime. I didn't. I voted for this because it's pure awesomeness. It's got to be the best I've heard, and the video is so funny.
For me, this is one of the best songs from these guys. Great song. Love it. Never get tired of it.
One of the heaviest nu-metal songs on the planet and among the most creative.
Just an amazing song. It really gets you into a great mood. These guys are the Metallica of Japan, if not better! Honestly, this has to be their best song, hands down.
This is the song that made me interested in them in the first place. I'm honestly surprised it's not first, but I'm still glad that it's made it up so far.
Another great combination of heavy and mainstream. It has a bit of a Linkin Park feel to the song.
I love the diversity in this song. It has an awesome and really heavy intro, a kind of insane verse with these awesome bridges between, a catchy pre-chorus, and then this epic and beautiful chorus. Just love it!
The best combination of poppy and heavy. It's the best way to introduce the album.
I love what it's saying. Look up the lyrics, and it's sure to be one of your favorites by them too!
This should be in the top five at least! F defines Maximum The Hormone! It's a perfect blend of hard rock, metal, and alternative. What's Up People? and Zetsubou Billy are good, but don't vote for them just because they're in an anime.
My first Maximum The Hormone song! Catchy, powerful, and hilarious. I became an immediate fan of this amazing band.
How come this song wasn't on the list until I added it? You are not true Harapeko Kids!
It's just so awesome, you know? It's really funny and catchy. Since the moment I first heard it, I couldn't stop. It's glued to my head, laugh out loud.
I thought this was going to be about happy bunnies and unicorns flying around and stuff. I decided to look up the lyrics one day... Chu Chu Lovely Muni Muni Mura Mura Purin Purin Boron Nurururerorero!
Whenever I listen to this song, I feel like I should be on a beach having a good time with my friends. Then, I imagine starting a mosh pit in a local bar, then surfing and swimming with friends again, and finally trying to kill sharks with my bare hands. This song is awesome!
This is cooler (and somewhat more understandable) than the other songs. Also, it has a somewhat different vibe from the other songs.
I love this song. It should have more votes than it does.
"Yoshu Fukushu" is MTH's newest song/album after a six-year hiatus, and it was well worth the wait. It starts with Nao singing in her melodic voice, making you think this is a reflective opening for the new album to prepare for MTH's lighthearted return... Uh-uh. Nao finishes, and it explodes with MTH's hardcore, usual sound, followed by Daisuke-han's low screams. Then, it immediately switches to Uehara slapping that bass, while Ryo shouts some very provocative lyrics.
Daisuke treats us to another round of his screams, accompanied by more of Ryo's riffs. Then, the song circles back to the melodic tone from the beginning. Overall, the album showcases a slight change in style. Although there are still several moments where the group shouts in unison, in "Yoshu Fukushu," the entire band sings the chorus (about the death of merciless schoolwork) together. The song is so well put together.
After the chorus, Daisuke returns, the song shifts back to singing, and then boom - Ryo hits you with a "Take that!" attitude. The entire group joins in again, shouting in unison. Finally, Nao closes with her beautiful melodic voice. And all of this happens in just five minutes.
I highly recommend "Yoshu Fukushu" to all Maximum the Hormone fans. It's their sixth studio album, and the first song/music video from the album can be seen on YouTube.
This song should be in the top five. What's it doing down here? This song is just pure heavy metal.
Just hilarious. It mixes up several genres in one bizarre song. Highly recommend!
Amazing composition. So many genres. Catchy as all hell.
This is their heaviest sound. I don't know if the lyrics are funny, just like they always are, but this track is my current number one.
Love Nao's vocal part in this song. One of their best songs. It should be a little higher than this.
This should at least be in the top 10. In my opinion, it's at the level of Bikini Sports Ponchin.
Another hilarious, nonsensical, but overly amazing rocking song from MTH. Just look at the title: "Beat the Heck Out of You with Three Chords."
