Paradise Lost are a gothic metal band that formed in 1988 in Halifax, England and are considered by some to be one of the pioneers of the death/doom genre and of the gothic metal genre.
Steven John Wilson is an English musician, singer, songwriter and record producer, most closely associated with the progressive rock genre. He is best known for his band Porcupine Tree. Steven decided to "postpone the future" as his last album, The Future Bites, was delayed until he is able to do the tour promotion. Nevertheless, he did release the single "Personal Shopper," which is an interesting track. The other single, "King Ghost," supposed to be released a few weeks after, was postponed indefinitely.
However, the track was available on some streaming platforms and I was able to hear it. So far, it's the best track. I think Steven will again surprise us with a distinctive and challenging album and show next year.

They just keep getting better and better. Their perfect mixture of heaviness and melodic arrangements combine perfectly to make beautiful and emotional music that can go from intense rhythmically charged sections to acoustic passages like it was nothing.
Caligula's Horse grows with every album. The music they produce is wonderfully diverse and they have a very moving way of expressing what is important in life.

Hayley Nichole Williams is an American singer, songwriter and musician. She is best known as the lead vocalist, occasional keyboardist and primary songwriter of the American rock band Paramore. In 2020 she started a solo career. Hayley did an amazing job with Petals for Armor. To be fair, I think a lot of its success was about an AMAZING production job. It still captures those '80s vibes introduced on the last Paramore album, which I think is great but with some interesting twists to it. An outstanding and innovative work and artist!
