1 Marilyn Manson
Brian Hugh Warner, better known by his stage name Marilyn Manson, is an American musician, songwriter, actor, painter, multimedia artist, author, and former music journalist. He looks like a monster, but he's awesome and he's my monster.
Love the dude! Should be at least in the top 3!
He may be creepy, but I've seen a lot worse.
How many churches has this satanist burnt? out done by all of the nordic pagans
2 Mayhem
Mayhem is a Norwegian black metal band formed in 1984 in Oslo, regarded as one of the pioneers of the Norwegian black metal scene. The band is also known for the infamous events surrounding them including the 1991 suicide of vocalist Dead (in which former guitarist Euronymous took pictures of Dead's corpse and used one of them as the front cover for one of their live albums) and the 1993 murder of Euronymous by former member Varg Vikernes, of Burzum. Why they're scary? For starters their lead singer tries so hard to be a corpse that he buries his clothes until the day of the show and wears black and white makeup to look like a corpse. Then, at the concerts, he would throw real pig heads at the crowd to weed out the posers. One day, he committed suicide and his guitarist, Euronymous, took a picture of him for a later album and ate parts of his brain and made necklaces out of his skull. He was then murdered by former bassist Varg Vikernes. The band also did church burnings too
How is justin bieber scarier than the vocalist shooting himself in the face, cutting his arms, the guitarist gettings stabbed to death by the bassist, the bassist burning churches, the drummer stabbing a gay man to death (lol) and the lyrics being about dead corpses and sacrilege? tell me justin bieber is scary fun fact, they even used the picture of the vocalists corpse to make album art and ate his brains making a necklace with skull fragments. and also nicki minaj's butt is fake
3 Deicide
Deicide is an American death metal band formed in 1987 by bassist and vocalist Glen Benton and drummer Steve Asheim. They are known for their blasphemous and satanic lyrics which have resulted in bans, lawsuits and criticisms from religious groups and the public. Frontman Glen Benton is also known for being a theistic satanist, even going as far as to repeatedly branding an inverted cross into his forehead on at least 12 different occasions. I don't think I've heard one song from them that doesn't bash Christianity. Also I've heard the lead singer is an actual satanist.
4 GG Allin
Kevin Michael "GG" Allin (born Jesus Christ Allin; 1956-1993) was an American singer, songwriter and record producer, who performed and recorded with many groups during his career. He was best known for his graphic live performances which included self-mutilation, parading around the stage naked, fighting with members of his audience, and even eating his own feces. He was also known for his vulgar lyrics (which had themes of misogyny, pedophilia, blasphemy, and racism) which polarized listeners and created varied opinions of him. When questioned about his music and shows, Allin often replied that he was trying to make rock music "dangerous" again.
He died from a heroin overdose off-stage in 1993. He was originally gonna commit suicide onstage like he promised for several years but never had the chance to due to his overdose. Anybody who thinks Marilyn Manson is a bad influence on society, you have not heard of this guy before. This is literally a guy who spends most of his time getting drunk, getting nude on stage, fighting with other people, urinating on his audience, and eating his own feces. Oh my god. Even Marilyn Manson isn't this screwed up. He really isn't. He's actually a nice guy in real life whose songs actually do have positive messages disguised as bad ones. While this guy spends most of his life drinking and sleeping with teenagers.
Hated in the Nation is a horror-movie/punk documentry.. there are scenes where he fights members of his audience turning entire sets into violent, drug/liquor-fuelled bloodbaths.. plus he had always promised to commit suicide on stage (and to take some other peeps out with him) making GG in my humble opinion the scariest entertainer in modern music history.
I've even heard that he used to take laxatives before going onstage so that way he can crap on his fans!
... That's enough internet for one day..
He made songs called 'Expose Yourself to Kids' and 'Ten Year Old F***'. Need I say more?
5 Varg Vikernes
Louis Cachet, (born Kristian Vikernes) more popularly known as Varg Vikernes, is a Norwegian musician, writer, and a convicted murderer and arsonist. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings), which is considered one of the most influential bands in black metal history. He's also known for murdering Mayhem guitarist Euronymous and was sentenced to 21 years in prison in 1994. He killed Euronymous with 23 stabs. He burned churches.

7 Gorgoroth
Gorgoroth is a Norwegian black metal band based in Bergen. Formed in 1992 by Infernus, the band is named after the dead plateau of evil and darkness in the land of Mordor (a fictional location in J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings). Gorgoroth is led by a scary mofo named Infernis.. from wiki "On February 1, 2004, during a concert being recorded for a DVD in Kraków, Poland, the band displayed sheep heads on stakes, a bloodbath of 80 litres of sheep's blood, Satanic symbols, and four naked crucified models on stage. A police investigation took place... charges were later dropped because the band did not know that they were breaking the law.. I mean they were just dead sheep, but for somebody to purposefully perform on a stage covered in real blood and severed animal heads makes him scarier than Ozzy or Marilyn.. although Rev. Manson used to put on an amazing show back when he wasn't in his 40s, Manson still isn't as scary as Gorgoroth - nor does he try to be.
Infernus is the absolute true lord of darkness! He really is!
An actual satanic band.

Euronymous was a controversial figure in black metal. He claimed to be a theistic satanist and was against individualism, compassion, peace, happiness and fun. He also claimed that he wanted to spread sorrow, hatred and evil. Another controversial thing he did was that he took pictures of Dead's corpse and used one of them for the front cover of Mayhem's live album Dawm of the Black Hearts. He stated that Dead's suicide was used to foster Mayhem's evil image. How could you people forget about this CREATURE?! He was a theistic satanist! He wanted to spread hatred, sorrow and pain.

Principally because he had Dennis Wilson under his thumb. The song was called "Cease to Resist", after Dennis re-titled it. Manson's original was "Cease to Exist". That shows his true colours, now, doesn't it?
So I think you mean MARILYN Manson. Charles Manson was a serial killer, not a musical artist. Marilyn Manson actuallt took his last name for the band
He counts because he wrote a song and once worked for The Beach Boys.
He is a serial killer, not an Musical Artist!

He can reach some low death metal growls, and some of his lyrics make the growls even scarier!

She has endorsed Adidas, MAC Cosmetics and Pepsi.
Minaj has received ten Grammy-nominations throughout her career, and has won multiple awards including the Billboard's Women in Music 2011 Rising Star award. Fun Fact: Me and my mates had an argument over which is scarier, Nicki Minaj's butt or Marilyn Manson's "Sweet Dreams" video!

Set chickens on fire, pees on the alamo, used cocaine as his life force, bit off two doves head and bit off a bats head ON STAGE and yet he is lower then freaking Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus who are NOTHING compared to the original prince of darkness himself!
I'm cool with Marilyn Manson at number 1 but Ozzy NEEDS to be in the top 10 at least.
