Top 10 Worst Music Artists of the 2010s

The Top Ten
  1. One Direction

One Direction (commonly abbreviated as 1D) was a British and Irish pop boy band composed of Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and originally Zayn Malik, who departed on March 25, 2015.

The group formed on The X Factor UK in 2010, finishing third, and then signed with Simon... read more

Polluting the industry with their depressingly poor pop music, One Direction may capture the hearts of teenage girls worldwide, but everyone knows most of it isn't their own work.

Their music is annoying, they have little talent, and they don't even seem to like their own music. Plus, their fanbase is mostly made up of young girls ages 9-12.

They're judged based on their looks, not their talent.

I can't understand why people listen to this garbage. Their songs are a joke, and the vocals are terrible.

  2. Justin Bieber

Justin Drew Bieber (born March 1, 1994) is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and record producer. He currently resides in Ontario, Canada, and is Christian. He is the son of Pattie Mallette, an author.

Justin Bieber is best known for his songs "Baby" and "What Do You Mean?" As of mid 2025, 11 of... read more

Justin Bieber has remained quieter this decade and even announced his retirement. However, this doesn't change the fact that he has still released some abysmal records and has filled radio airspace with singles that few people truly enjoy.

This guy ruined pop music and the entire music industry. He uses way too much autotune, and when he isn't lip-syncing, he sounds like a choking cow. He's also a horrible person, being so rude to his own fans. And now he's called the "Prince of Pop"? Michael Jackson must be rolling in his grave!

  3. Nicki Minaj

Onika Tanya Maraj, known professionally as Nicki Minaj (born December 8, 1982), is a Trinidadian-American rapper and pop artist. She is widely recognized for hits like "Anaconda," "Super Bass," "Starships," and her feature on "Bang Bang."... read more

This horrible person ruined rap music. Her voice is so annoying, and her songs are only about sex. Rap was good back in the '90s and early 2000s with 2Pac, Biggie Smalls, and Eminem. Now it's just garbage.

The worst music artist ever, beyond a doubt. I hate everything - and I mean everything - about her.

She is worse than One Direction, in my opinion. Her songs are repetitive and annoying.

  4. Miley Cyrus

Miley Ray Cyrus (born Destiny Hope Cyrus), known professionally as Miley Cyrus, is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She was born on November 23, 1992, in Franklin, Tennessee, to Tish Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus. Her voice type is popularly described as a lyric mezzo soprano, with a vocal range... read more

She wasn't always that bad, but her voice now sounds terrible due to excessive drug use. I mean, come on! She can't even sing "Wrecking Ball" on key. Her AMA performance was painful to listen to, and the VMA performance was just ridiculous. Her antics are getting old, and I don't think she'll last much longer. As for her singing, the talent she once had is gone. She sounds sick and manly every time she performs her new songs live. Sorry, Milerz.

She's a bad example and not a very good singer. Party in the USA was probably her best song, and that came out, what, five years ago?

Hannah Montana was actually what made her popular, but now that it's off the air, nobody really remembers her. Plus, her new movie *So Undercover* isn't very good. *Yawn.*

  5. PSY

Park Jae-sang (Korean: 박재상, born December 31, 1977), better known by his stage name Psy, stylized as PSY, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, record producer, and rapper.

Pop was so much better back in the '80s with artists like Michael, Madonna, Prince, and Whitney. Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Bieber, Gaga, and Timberlake ruined pop music. Taylor, you'll never be as good as Whitney.

Why do people like this piece of garbage? Just because she's cute doesn't mean she's a great singer. Taylor, you are nothing.

She is worse than Justin Bieber. At least he doesn't write songs about his ex-lovers like she does.

  7. Carly Rae Jepsen

Carly Rae Jepsen is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Mission, British Columbia, and later based in Los Angeles. She's best known for her 2012 hit single "Call Me Maybe", which topped charts worldwide.

All her songs seem to promote revenge, murder, and violence (how classy!), or they push for eliminating the separation of church and state in America. Maybe this is why the Religious Right loves her music so much, even though she promotes violence and murder.

  21. Rebecca Black

Rebecca Black is a singer and YouTube personality known for her 2011 single "Friday." It became the most disliked video on YouTube until Justin Bieber's "Baby" surpassed it in 2012. She has also released songs like "My Moment" and "Saturday," and continues to create music and content.

Remember the abomination of a "song" called Friday that came out in 2011? If I didn't know any better, I'd say she sounded like a dying animal.

I hate her nasal voice. She sounds like she snorted something with cat hair in it when she was seven. Annoying.
