Top 10 Celebrities Who Like to Appear Smarter Than They Are

Some celebrities treat intelligence like part of the outfit. You can see the pose from a mile away: the serious cadence, the oversized vocabulary, the constant need to sound like the only person in the room who has read a book with no pictures. That does not mean they are clueless, because plenty of them are talented, accomplished, and perfectly capable in the lanes that made them famous.

The thing that makes them fascinating is how hard they lean into the scholar costume, as if every interview is a final exam and every podcast is their shot at becoming the world's most exhausting substitute teacher. You are not looking at idiots trying to fake a brain, but skilled people who know that sounding extra sharp can make you seem deeper, more credible, and somehow above the mess everyone else lives in, which is a pretty smart trick in itself.
