Top 10 Best David Letterman Top Ten Lists
It feels like a lifetime ago when rumors were constantly circulating about when David Letterman would finally step down from his late night television throne. He officially retired from the Late Show back in 2015 and left a massive void in our viewing routines. Late night television simply has not been the same without his trademark sarcasm and his willingness to embrace total absurdity.
We certainly hoped he would keep delivering his iconic Top Ten lists forever. Those nightly countdowns provided some of the sharpest comedy on the airwaves for over three decades. Millions of sleepy viewers routinely stayed up way past their bedtimes just to hear a famous actor or a random stagehand read hilarious zingers from a blue card.
