Ah yes this is great! Lost to Friday night dinner in the end but this is still a very hilarious show. Maurice Moss just makes this show.

I once was introduced Mr Bean on VHS when I was a kid. Now it's 2017 and I have started to rewatch it again on YouTube. I couldn't believe seeing Mr Bean again, I was so excited! Some of the episodes made me laugh so hard, some of them left me dreaming about them, some of them left me speechless, especially when he used Teddy as a paintbrush. But overall what a hilarious man-child he is! Highly intelligent but sometimes arrogant and mean! But hey, hands down, he is the best T.V. character and best show from the UK!
Rowan Akitson as Mr Bean is one of the funniest things in the world. He is such an amazing actor, and this show of only 13 episodes has been named iften as ine if the greatest sitcoms of all time. It's my seventh favourite show, and my favourite British show. I also like Fawlty Towers (#9) and Monty Python's Flying Circus (#13)
The Inbetweeners is a British coming-of-age sitcom that aired from 2008 to 2010. The Inbetweeners spawned two feature films and has left a significant imprint on British pop culture. This and Only Fools And Horses should be at the top. Inbetweeners is just so hilarious and rude it's amazing. Will, Jay and Neil are so funny. Loads of new words have been invented from this show and is the funniest show this century.

Fawlty Towers is a British television sitcom broadcast on BBC2 in 1975 and 1979. Just two series of six episodes each were made. I've watched all 12 episodes and they still make me laugh every time I watch them! That's the sign of a truly great series. Best Britcom ever!

Blackadder is a series of four BBC1 pseudohistorical British sitcoms, plus several one-off instalments, which originally aired in the 1980s. Best comedy ever. "As cunning as a fox who's just been appointed professor of cunning at Oxford university" gives it away!
Blackadder is at number 9? This is easily the best sitcom of all time, let alone the best British comedy. Awful list.

Red Dwarf is a British science fiction comedy franchise which primarily consists of a television sitcom that aired on BBC Two between 1988 and 1999, and on Dave since 2009, gaining a cult following. The only show which ever managed to get sci-fi plus comedy right! Plots were equally brilliant and hilarious. Not to mention an amazing cast with perfect chemistry!
Wi-Fi and comedy to best genres and they made red dwarf. I am gonna watch it tonight as well.
My brother and dad keep on watching it. I am not quite sure what the big deal but now that I have seen this, and it's above mighty boosh and red dwarf, I can't say that I am not curios as to why it is at the top of this list
The best Brits around! The troupe Monty Python are surely the greatest comedy act of all time, without a doubt. Their jokes are clever, witty, and just silly! (I agree. Silly, silly, silly! )

Mark and Jeremy are the funniest comedy characters ever, and Johnson and Super Hans are great too.
This is really the only modern sitcom alongside The Office that should be in the top ten.

Adrian Edmondson and Rik Mayall together make this a laugh-stashed series about two guys who just want to "do it". It is a ridiculous, hilarious series that belongs at least in top ten. Eddie and Richie are a violent, drunken couple who know how to make people laugh! Go BOTTOM!
Does nobody here see that the show is Monty Python's Flying Circus, not just Monty Python? I mean, Monty Python could refer to any of their live shows or their films, but being that this is a list of British comedy shows, just Monty Python should not be on the list.
This should be number 1. All these shows on the list won't be the same without Monty Python.

The absolute best show in the world, I highly recommend (you most likely will fall in love with Noel Fielding) I've bee a fan for most of my life, and have been to both live shows! Impeccable (my sisters saw more shows than me because they are older, and were... y'know... actually alive) Ooh plus Noel Fielding is the nicest celebrity ever don't @ me (live met him 6 times, he's lovely) This show is highly entertaining, to be honest it's never really made me die of laughter (well it has sometimes) but it's addicting, very interesting and fun. You'll love it. "So come with us now on a journey through time and space to the world of The Mighty Boosh" you won't regret it (unless you don't like surreal humour, because in that case you're stuffed x)
Absolutely the best British comedy of all time! I have watched every episode over 20 times and still find new jokes, puns and gags. The 60s, 70s and 80s music references make me go ultimate fan mode.

If you don't know this show, you HAVE to see it! The characters, humour, scenarios, EVERYTHING is just done so brilliantly! Definitely one of the best comedies on T.V. today!
Funniest show on T.V.. Characters are great and the casting is perfect. Martin is just hilarious as too is Jim. The humour is sooo funny and will get you in hysterics every episode guarantee.
