Top 10 Best Futurama Episodes
Good news, everyone! You've somehow stumbled into a voting wormhole of Futurama greatness, and now it's your civic duty as a sentient meatbag to choose which episodes belong at the top of the list! Yes, YOU. Don't look around like an idiot. It's not a test unless you fail.
This list compiles the absolute cream of the crop. Vote for the episodes that made you spit out your Slurm or contemplate your own mortality for a second before going back to TikTok. Other people have already cast their votes, and while they may be primitive and wrong, it's only fair you add your own superior opinions to the data pile.
So hop in the Smell-O-Scope, fire up the What-If Machine, and scroll like the fate of the universe depends on it. Which, it absolutely does not. But it helps me feel relevant.

The Late Philip J. Fry
Fry, Bender, and Professor Farnsworth travel forward in time and are unable to return to the present. They continue advancing through time in hopes of reaching a theoretical future that loops back to the past.
I love this episode so much. The very first time I saw it, it moved me so much, and it felt like it was an hour long despite being the same length as any other Futurama episode. I knew this was my favorite as soon as it finished.
I was expecting Jurassic Bark at number 1. I am glad it didn't happen. This is my favorite episode because they crammed so much into about 22 minutes. It was interesting to see all the different times.
Yes, please! This episode is absolutely fantastic! This is my favorite episode because it combines creativity, comedy, emotion, a great song, and a great concept.
Definitely an amazing episode!

Jurassic Bark
Fry discovers the fossilized remains of his dog Seymour and considers cloning him. He grapples with the decision while learning more about Seymour's life after Fry's disappearance.
This is a brutal watch. That guttural "Oh, God, no" response you have that makes you sick to your stomach when you realize what's going to happen... Absolutely brilliantly written. No better episode of character development has ever graced a television screen, and that's what has made this episode - and its ending - so "infamous."
"You see, beneath the fossil's crunchy, mineral shell, there's still a creamy core of dog nougat."
He described Seymour as a chocolate!
This probably made people cry a lot. But it is such an incredible episode and should be remembered in entertainment history.
-
The Luck of the Fryrish
Fry searches for his old lucky seven-leaf clover, believing his brother stole his identity. He uncovers the truth about his brother's tribute to him instead.
The only one that made me cry. This is the first time on Futurama where you truly realize that Fry left his entire family behind and that his brother actually loved him.
By far the best episode ever. It had so much heart and was so dramatic. We also learn a lot about our favorite guy who got frozen 1000 years in the future, Philip J. Fry.
This was so heartwarming, like Jurassic Bark. When I first saw the end (I still do), I burst into tears. I can't believe this series has ended.

Saturday Morning Fun Pit

G.I. Zapp with Nixon's editing is my funniest moment in the series.

Without a doubt, the best episode. It was originally intended to be the series finale because Futurama was being canceled, and the season ended on this masterpiece.
From stolen ass plates to improvised opera, this episode had it all. "It's not ironic! It's just coincidental!"
The true finale to the series that ends the character arcs perfectly.
-

Great satire of consumerism, animal rights, and retributive justice.
-
Episode 2: The Series Has Landed
The crew takes Fry on his first mission, delivering a package to the Moon. Fry is disillusioned to find the Moon has become a tourist trap.
The humor throughout this episode is just plain hilarious. It's overall a really perfect episode. I like how it's one of those where it's Fry's view on life in the future vs. someone else's, with him being really hyped for the moon while Leela gets annoyed by it.
It had just the right amount of emotion at the end.
