Top 10 Worst Super Bowl Commercials of All Time
Hey everybody, you know what this week is all about? Well, casual fans, it's Super Bowl week! To kick it off, let's talk about some unforgettable commercials, but not the good kind.Today, we're taking a look at some of the biggest travesties that aired during past Super Bowls.

Yep... this one takes the cake. Nothing else comes close to being as offensive and racist as this ad.
The accents were horrible and full of blatant stereotypes. I'd love to know where SalesGenie originated because this ad was just ridiculously over the line.

This is one of the most depressing ads I have ever seen. Maybe calling it a top-five worst ad is a stretch, but come on - this is Nationwide!
Nationwide is on your side - I want to be entertained, not made to feel sad while watching the biggest game of the year.

Good god, this ad is dumb. And all of it for basically a Groupon?
If anything, I would have expected to see this being made fun of on Saturday Night Live, not actually used as an ad. The whole idea was just terrible.

This one, for a while, felt like an urban legend, but no, it's an actual '90s ad featuring what is likely the first deceased celebrity recreated in CGI.
The ad was controversial for using Fred Astaire without legal legitimacy. His widow insisted that it not be shown and had it pulled from airing again. While it did appear a few times after the Super Bowl, the ad was eventually altered, replacing the broom with a vacuum.

This guy's expression in this 30-second ad says it all. Even I would be horrified to check into a Holiday Inn only to realize - wait a minute - that woman was actually a he?!
Nowadays, nobody would make an ad like this again.

In this 2007 General Motors ad, we are introduced to a robot with a drill-crane-like face as it applies for a job and is immediately rejected, which leads to it having suicidal thoughts - until realizing it was all just a dream.
All in all, I can't believe I had forgotten about this ad until I suddenly remembered how odd that robot looked.

There was a very mixed reaction to this Mountain Dew commercial. You either enjoyed it, or it gave you nightmares.
The design alone was unsettling, but the movements of this thing were even more unnatural. The visual was justified in being creepy.
I love pugs and have a nine-year-old pug at home. But this commercial was just annoying and relied on weirdness to get a cheap laugh.
This was maybe funny for a day, but after that, it was just stupid and annoying.

What the heck was the purpose of Outpost.com anyway? Well... actually, they said you could buy stuff there, yet we got a terrible ad featuring a cannon firing gerbils six times.
It was just unexciting and not something to go nuts over - unless you were on the receiving end, which would be a different story.

This one was simply odd. It was considered the first Australian commercial to debut during the Super Bowl, but was it of good quality?
Shockingly, it wasn't. Maybe it was because the whole thing just looked awkward and unusually out of place.

As a follow-up to Apple's infamous 1984 commercial, this was a disappointing flop that many may not even remember from the mid-'80s.
To be honest, it was just confusing to watch and hard to understand what was going on.
