321 Daniel Handler

The author of a series of unfortunate events. What I admire most about him is his distinct style of writing. You'd be hard pressed to find a style of writing much like his. If his work depresses or confuses you, well I don't blame you, even he is constantly saying it's miserable, but I find if your looking for some thing that keeps you on your toes, try his books.

340 Paul-Jacques Bonzon

He wrote the most heart-breaking novel about siblings who got separated for a long time.
His novel "Les Orphelins de Simitra" was adapted to anime entitled " Porphy's Long Journey " and translated to English named " Orphans of Simitra "
It's not famous because the original is in French but its English translation is very well crafted.
