The Top Ten
1 Wolf The wolf (Canis lupus), also known as the gray wolf or grey wolf, is a large canine native to Eurasia and North America. More than thirty subspecies of Canis lupus have been recognized, and gray wolves, as popularly understood, comprise wild subspecies. The wolf is the largest extant member of the family Canidae. It is also distinguished from other Canis species by its less pointed ears and muzzle, as well as a shorter torso and a longer tail. The wolf is nonetheless related closely enough to smaller Canis species, such as the coyote and the golden jackal, to produce fertile hybrids with them. The banded fur of a wolf is usually mottled white, brown, gray, and black, although subspecies in the ...read more.

This animal is not only my favorite animal, but it's also my favorite thing to draw because you can have it any way you want. Anything you do to a drawing may make it unique and interesting, but when you add on to wolves, they stay beautiful and cool at the same time. Also, if you look up anime wolves, it will come up with the coolest ad dons for wolves that you will ever see like wings or magic! It's just facinating to draw for me and I absolutely love drawing them!

Iove to draw wolves I like to draw I like to draw other animals but I would have to go with the wolf because there so majestic and you can draw so many packs and so many expressions to chose from... And so loyal to each other I like to draw pictures of a wolf helping out a fellow wolf. Anyway you people that haven't voted chose what you like but remember there's always a spot here for a fellow wolf lover

Wolves are my spirit animal and are so majestic. They seem to be hard to draw but no, it's just the fur and just takes a certain time to draw, guidelines help so much. I love to flick my pencil to draw their fur and also coloring their fur, it looks so cool.

I love wolves because they all have beautiful features. All wolves are different and that is what I think makes them special in their own unique way. They are my favorite animal and they are a very divine animal. They are simply magic.

2 Dog The dog or domestic dog (Canis familiaris or Canis lupus familiaris) is a domesticated descendant of the wolf, and is characterized by an upturning tail. The dog is derived from an ancient, extinct wolf, and the modern wolf is the dog's nearest living relative. The dog was the first species to be domesticated, by hunter–gatherers over 15,000 years ago, before the development of agriculture. Due to their long association with humans, dogs have expanded to a large number of domestic individuals and gained the ability to thrive on a starch-rich diet that would be inadequate for other canids. ...read more.

I love dogs so much, and drawing them is really fun! It is really easy to draw a dog simple, but also if you choose a more complex dog, it is even better! I definitely recommend drawing a dog for everyone!

Only thing I can draw that's on this entire list.
How pathetic am I.
I can't even draw it that well...
Well, have fun. They aren't easy always. (I can only draw the same kind of thing over and over. )

When I was little, all I did was draw dogs. It's cool because they can be almost any feeling and you can easily tell!

I think dog are cuddly especially Yellow labs and I have one she's the queen of the house laugh out loud!

3 Cat The cat (Felis catus) is a domestic species of small carnivorous mammal.
It is the only domesticated species in the family Felidae and is often referred to as the domestic cat to distinguish it from the wild members of the family. A cat can either be a house cat, a farm cat or a feral cat; the latter ranges freely and avoids human contact.

Domestic cats are valued by humans for companionship and their ability to kill rodents. About 60 cat breeds are recognized by various cat registries. ...read more.

Cats are a relatively easy to draw animal. The only difficulty on starting with this if you are a beginner is getting the body shape and legs. Because they are so flexible, it can be rather difficult to get it mastered. I suggest you start with an animal with a similar body shape but easier to memorize ( a snake for example because of there flexibility ) or even drawing out the bones in lines to master the position you will be drawing the most. Cats are still a great beginner animal and I suggest trying it out!

Warrior cats opens a whole new world of drawing cats, with different markings and colors. I just like drawing existing cats in the Warrior Cats series using the alliances page. Cats are the only animal I like to draw besides wolves, foxes and birds, but the colors like brown and tawny on some wolf drawings are not possible in real life though.

Cats are one of my favorite animals, and are really fun to draw! If you haven't read Warriors by Erin Hunter, it's about cats and I definitely recommend!

Cats are pretty much the only things on this list that I can draw
But they are pretty easy.
I love drawing cats because I have two cats. They're my favorite animal!
I also love the Warrior cat series, and it's so much fun to make my own characters!

4 Dragon A dragon is a legendary creature, typically with serpentine or reptilian traits, that features in the myths of many cultures.

In the past 4 years my dragon drawing skills including anatomy, detail, originality, poses, and movement went from being extremely terrible to being amazing. I love drawing them so much. I'm actually drawing one right now. It's actually a horse/dragon hybrid though, but still a dragon.

Dragons are such mystical and beautiful creatures, that drawing them is so fun and awesome in the end result! I have drawn a ton of dragons so far, and I love every single one. I love it so much, that is why I want you to try it!

Such a majestic creature! Although they don't exist, it would be marvellous if they did. I have a spiritual connection with dragons so I voted for them.

I love drawing dragons because no matter how I draw them, no one can tell me I did it wrong because no one knows what they look like because they aren't real.

5 Fox Foxes are small to medium sized animals and belong to the Canidae family along with other animals such as jackals, wolves, and domestic dogs. There are 37 species of fox but only 12 are considered true Vulpes. A fox's prey is small mammals, birds, reptiles, frogs, eggs, insects, worms, fish, crabs, mollusks, fruits, berries, vegetables, seeds, fungi and carrion. Some of the best known species of fox are the fennec fox, red fox, gray fox, arctic fox, and the swift fox. Foxes are just such beautiful animals, so why not draw them? I have drew so many foxes by now, I enjoy it more and more ever time I draw it! I honestly really think everyone should try it!

Foxes are the best thing to start on I think, because they have so many different poses and expressions. You could spend hours mastering the fox... Or simply a few minutes.

Foxes have a element of solitude, cleverness, curiosity, and playfulness that gives you so many choices of how to pose them, and are very elegant and beautiful.

They are so slender and graceful! Beautiful animals to draw, the white on their bellies also adds an interesting component to paint.

6 Horse The horse is an odd-toed, hoofed mammal of the taxonomic family Equidae whose sole major subspecies (Equus ferus caballus) is a domesticate, although wild subspecies have survived into the modern period. All subspecies, including the two extant ones, descend from the Pleistocene Equus ferus. The horse has evolved over the past 45 to 55 million years from a small multi-toed creature, Eohippus, into the large, single-toed animal of today. Humans began domesticating horses around 4000 BC, and their domestication is believed to have been widespread by 3000 BC. Horses in the subspecies caballus are domesticated, although some domesticated populations live in the wild as feral horses. These feral ...read more.

I've always loved horses since age three. A boy horse under 4 years old is a colt, and a boy horse over 4 years old is called a stallion. A girl horse under 4 years old is a filly and one over 4 years is a mare. Horses are naturally hard to draw. I have drawn horses forever and I am now skilled at drawing one. All you have to do is get a How to draw horses book at the library and you'll be mastered in no time!

I also wish horses were number one on the list.

I love horse's I love drawing them there alsofun to ride I am very good at both drawling and riding I just love them there so cute and soft cuddly I used to ride Katie it wasn't mine the. I took lessons she is a great and fun and cuddly now I don't. Ride them

7 Turtle Turtles are an order of reptiles known as Testudines, characterized by a shell developed mainly from their ribs. Modern turtles are divided into two major groups, the side-necked turtles and hidden neck turtles, which differ in the way the head retracts. There are 360 living and recently extinct species of turtles, including land-dwelling tortoises and freshwater terrapins. They are found on most continents, some islands and, in the case of sea turtles, much of the ocean. Like other reptiles, birds, and mammals, they breathe air and do not lay eggs underwater, although many species live in or around water. Genetic evidence typically places them in close relation to crocodilians and birds. ...read more.

8 Snake Snakes are elongated, limbless, carnivorous reptiles of the suborder Serpentes. Like all other squamates, snakes are ectothermic, amniote vertebrates covered in overlapping scales. Many species of snakes have skulls with several more joints than their lizard ancestors, enabling them to swallow prey much larger than their heads (cranial kinesis). To accommodate their narrow bodies, snakes' paired organs (such as kidneys) appear one in front of the other instead of side by side, and most have only one functional lung. Some species retain a pelvic girdle with a pair of vestigial claws on either side of the cloaca. Lizards have evolved elongate bodies without limbs or with greatly reduced limbs ...read more.

Ok, why is everyone saying they are easy?! To all of you saying they are easy, try to draw specific species of snakes, a particular pattern/morph. Try to draw a Green Tree Python, a Boa Constrictor (BCC or BCI), A Bush Viper, a banded sea krait, and a Kingsnake, all have quite different features, so I challenge you to draw them, it isn't easy, they have different scales, different eyes, different bodies, different patterns, different head shapes, and more!

Snakes look really cool and aren't too difficult to draw. They're actually quite fun to draw once you know how.

Snakes are easy, all you have to do is draw wavy lines and do it again.

Snakes are easy to dray although they can be quite tricky.

The European rabbit, which has been introduced on every continent except Antarctica, is familiar throughout the world as a wild prey animal and as a domesticated form of livestock and pet. 10 Bird

Some are simple and some are not but if you are to show tone it's best to start on smaller birds than others.

Birds are very simple and nice to draw. Birds are also very good to draw because they are very small and are beautiful features.

Most penguins feed on krill, fish, squid and other forms of sea life which they catch with their bills and swallow it whole while swimming. A penguin has a spiny tongue and powerful jaws to grip slippery prey.

They spend roughly half of their lives on land and the other half in the sea. ...read more.

Almost everyone just chooses their favorite animal. I don't think most people actually think their favorite animal is the best one to draw but in my opinion this is definitely the best on to draw.

Penguins look so regal in every drawing. If you draw them, make sure any colour REALLY stands out, because they live in such a dull environment.

I find birds really easy to draw, as you don't have to add all the fur details you would with mammals. Feathers are easier to draw as well.

Easy to draw, you can put dresses on them when you draw them, and you can express your creativity better when you draw a penguin.

13 Tiger The tiger (Panthera tigris) is the largest living cat species and a member of the genus Panthera. It is most recognisable for its dark vertical stripes on orange fur with a white underside. An apex predator, it primarily preys on ungulates such as deer and wild boar. Tiger cubs stay with their mother for about two years, then become independent and leave their mother's home range to establish their own. ...read more.

It has a muscular, broad-chested body, short, rounded head, round ears, and a hairy tuft at the end of its tail. It is sexually dimorphic; adult male lions are larger than females and have a prominent mane. It is a social species, forming groups called prides. A lion's pride consists of a few adult males, related females, and cubs. Groups of female lions usually hunt together, preying mostly on large ungulates. The lion is an apex and keystone predator; although some lions scavenge when opportunities occur and have been known to hunt humans, the species typically does not actively seek out and prey on humans. ...read more.

21 Unicorn

What is the best animal to think of that first comes in mind is the magical and amazing animal the unicorn. My little sister loves unicorns she makes me read her a story about unicorns. I guess that's how my sister loves the unicorn and I.

Unicorns could be good or evil, and that makes them so unique that it is interesting to draw. Also, horses are very difficult to draw, but unicorns aren't real so they are open to interpretation!

I haven't really drawn one before but I will soon, it would be cool to have an evil one and a good one rearing up to each other. Actually I'm gonna do that now, such a good idea!
