Most of these bands may have embarked on multiple tours over the past few years. However, they have mostly stayed out of the spotlight, and the prospects for new music seem low.
The Rolling Stones are an English rock band formed in London in 1962. Their latest album, Hackney Diamonds, is awesome.
This band will still be kicking ass when all on earth at the moment are long gone.
Fleetwood Mac are a British-American rock band formed in July 1967, in London. The band have sold more than 100 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling bands of all time. Since their 1997 reunion, Fleetwood Mac has never separated, despite Christine McVie's death in 2022 and Lindsey Buckingham's departure in 2018. Buckingham has since been replaced with Mike Campbell of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers fame for lead guitar duties, and Neil Finn of Crowded House fame for male vocal duties. They haven't released new music since their 2013 EP, and their latest studio album was released in 2003. My guess is as long as Mick Fleetwood and John McVie live, the band will go on.

The Beach Boys are an American pop rock band formed in Hawthorne, California in 1961. The group's original lineup consisted of brothers Brian, Dennis, and Carl Wilson, their cousin Mike Love, and their friend Al Jardine. They've been active since 1961, and despite key members leaving and coming back, this band surprisingly never split. Better yet, they still have four key members who have been part of the band since the 1960s, namely Brian Wilson (sans his brothers Carl and Dennis, who both passed away), Mike Love, Al Jardine, and Bruce Johnston. Their latest album was released in 2012, but it's not even their longest gap between two albums.
Toto is an American rock band formed in 1977 in Van Nuys in Los Angeles. The band's current lineup consists of Joseph Williams, David Paich, Steve Porcaro, Steve Lukather, plus touring members Leland Sklar and Shannon Forrest. Toto has had many lineup changes over time, but just when you thought the band was ending for good in 2019, guitarist Steve Lukather and singer Joseph Williams brought it back. They announced they will keep touring together under the Toto moniker.
Lynyrd Skynyrd is an American rock band best known for popularizing the Southern rock genre during the 1970s They are known for songs like "Free Bird", "Sweet Home Alabama" and "Tuesdays Gone" . How does Lynyrd Skynyrd still exist today with no original members left? They are Southern rock's greatest living legends and survived their 1977 airplane crash. Still it's a mystery that this band still hasn't called it quits since their 1987 reunion, especially after Gary Rossington, who was with Skynyrd since the beginning, recently died. Now, the band feels like a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band led by Johnny Van Zant, trying to honor his brother Ronnie's legacy. Yep, in case you didn't know, disco legends Village People are still together. Aside from a holiday album in 2018, they haven't released a new studio album since 1985.
Funk legends Kool & The Gang will be celebrating their 60th anniversary this year. The band has undergone multiple lineup changes, with Robert "Kool" Bell being the only original member left. They have lost many of their members over the past few years. I guess as long as Kool lives, the band will go on.

Thirty Seconds to Mars (commonly stylized as 30 Seconds to Mars) is an American alternative rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1998. The band currently consists of brothers Jared and Shannon Leto. Just like Maroon 5, 30STM has consistently gotten worse overtime, and now it's just Jared Leto and his brother Shannon. Jared's ego is just as big as Adam Levine, and their latest music is very atrocious and uninspired. They are a band I wouldn't mind seeing calling it quits soon as Jared sounded so out of it in their latest album, which is one of if not the worst album of last year. Jared also has a reputation for being of the rudest people in Hollywood, which says a lot about his big ego.
Molly Hatchet is an American Southern hard rock band that formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1971. The band was founded by guitarist Dave Hlubek in 1971. Just like fellow Southern rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet has no original members left but is somehow still going. Their latest album was released in 2010, and they announced a new album scheduled for a 2024 release.
Maroon 5 is an American pop/pop rock band that originated in Los Angeles, California. Before the current group was established, the original four members, Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael Mickey Madden and Ryan Dusick, formed a band known as Kara's Flowers in 1994, while they were still in high school. It's a shame that they're still together. Their newer music is not as good. I remember when their music was more authentic and rock-oriented. Albums like Songs About Jane and It Won't Be Soon Before Long were great. It wasn't until their pop era, especially from 2017 to the present, that their music quality declined.
If I were one of the other guys from Adam Levine's crew, I'd want to leave immediately. Maroon 5 is nothing but a cash cow that had its image tarnished because of Adam Levine's cheating scandal.
