Anti is about to celebrate its 8-year anniversary. In late 2022, RiRi released two new songs for the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack, and did the Super Bowl halftime show in 2023. She also gave birth to two children.

Now it's time she gets to working on new music and releasing a new album.

She hasn't made anything in a LONG TIME. It would be nice to see her return.

Their new album Invincible Shield will be released on March 8th. The first singles they teased seemed to mark a great return to form so I can't wait to hear what's next. It's amazing to hear that JP are still kicking ass after half a century.

Likely not this year, but I think there's a good chance they will come out with one next year. A couple of tracks from their latest album already sounds outdated (e.g., the title track, Liberation), but from what I've heard Matt is interested in exploring more of the sound that is found on Won't Stand Down and Kill Or Be Killed (the best tracks from that album). Don't wanna get my hopes up too high, but hopefully they will redeem themselves.
