Cat
The cat (Felis catus) is a domesticated small carnivorous mammal. It is the only domesticated species in the Felidae family and is commonly called the domestic cat to distinguish it from wild felines.
Cats can be house pets, farm cats, or feral. They are often valued for companionship and for... read more
I have a kitten, and he does the cutest things. The reason dogs aren't as cute is that they have so many different breeds. Some dog lovers like cute dogs, while others don't care about how cute a dog is.
Some dogs, like pugs, I don't like because of their looks, while others, like huskies, I love because they are very energetic. A cat looks about the same for every breed.
Also, have you ever seen a baby munchkin cat? My cat is 2 years old and still looks and acts like a kitten, which is adorable, while in 7 years, a dog would be really old. Dogs are great if you want a fun, energetic friend, but some cats will be your lifelong friend.
I agree that cats are beautiful, intelligent, and independent creatures, and everyone deserves to have felt the joy of owning a cat at least once in their lives. Although I've been scratched multiple times, I understand that this is part of a cat's character and instinct.
Cats have so many good traits. For example, when I was younger and got extremely sick, my cat would lie on me to keep me warm and make me feel better. She would also lie on my homework and follow me to school. She was always at the bus station to walk me back home. I miss her greatly, but she deserved her rest, and I'm glad that the cat is the number one cutest animal and also the best pet.

Dog
The dog, or domestic dog (Canis familiaris or Canis lupus familiaris), is a domesticated descendant of the wolf and is characterized by an upturned tail. Derived from an ancient, extinct wolf species, the modern wolf is its closest living relative. Dogs were the first species to be domesticated by humans... read more
I was only going to vote for pigs, but when I realized cats were in first place, I had to vote for dogs to try and help them win. They're second place in my personal opinion. I think they are not only cuter than cats, but they are also friendlier in general.
I'd say at least 75% of cats don't care much about their owners, only wanting food and such. They are perfectly fine with leaving the house to seek out other people who will give them more food, which explains the number of cats you see out on the streets. Of course, some cats care about their owners, but a lot more dogs do. Dogs usually view their owners as part of their pack rather than just someone who supplies free food and a place to stay. Many cats are friendly too, but dogs? You get my point.

Rabbit
Rabbits, also known as bunnies or bunny rabbits, are small mammals in the family Leporidae, which also includes hares, and the order Lagomorpha, which also includes pikas. Oryctolagus cuniculus encompasses the European rabbit and its descendants, including the world's 305 breeds of domestic rabbit. Sylvilagus... read more
Come on, guys! We all know rabbits are the cutest! With their twitchy noses, cotton tails, and adorable yawns, who can deny they are worthy of being number one?
Have you ever seen a bunny binky (it's when a rabbit jumps straight in the air or shakes while running out of pure joy)? It's probably the most adorable and happy thing you can ever see. Plus, when they kick their legs back to relax, just look at those soft, furry mini paws! Absolutely adorable!
Dogs will bark, make a lot of noise, and freak out when they see a fellow member of their species. Cats will attack at random and give you all sorts of infections! I had a cat once, and it almost scratched my eye out in my sleep. Rabbits will not do any of that.
Most people don't believe rabbits have personalities, but each one is an individual and not like the one you saw before it. Independent yet cuddly, there's no denying that bunnies are the cutest.
-
Hamster
Hamsters are small rodents belonging to the subfamily Cricetinae. This group contains approximately 25 species that are classified into six or seven genera. They are commonly kept as pets and are known for storing food in their cheek pouches.
In my opinion, hamsters are cuter than any other animal in the world. I know this because I own a little cutie named Gia.
Hamsters have those cute little black eyes, cute tails, and depending on the type, they are so furry! The eyes stare into your soul with cuteness. Also, depending on the type of hamster, they have little stubby tails that are little balls of fluff!
Hamsters also have cute actions. They look like little fur balls in your hands, cage, or anywhere when they are cleaning themselves. They also look so adorable when they eat! Like, they look like little cuties.
The only downside is that they can sometimes be unfriendly and have a habit of biting you. But, I don't blame them! It's just the way they were born. Like, it's the hamster way!
-
Fox
Foxes are small to medium-sized animals in the Canidae family, which also includes jackals, wolves, and domestic dogs. I'm going to tell you a story. One day, my dad and I went into the woods looking for new discoveries, and we found an abandoned newborn fox who had a broken leg. We brought him to my house and cared for him.
Three years later, she had fox babies, and we still have them all. In 2018, she had six little foxes, and we named them Teacup, Mason, Flash, Sweetie, Anna, and Redwoods. The adult fox's name was Jackie.
Unfortunately, Redwood got hit by a car but survived and is now healthy. We love all six baby foxes and the one adult fox so much.
How can you not look at a fox and say that it's so cute? The red fox is only stage one in all this cuteness. There's the silver fox, fennec fox, arctic fox, and the list goes on.
Every fox has a different personality, making them the best and cutest animals ever.
-
Panda
The giant panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca), also known as the panda bear or simply the panda, is a bear species endemic to China. It is characterized by its distinctive black-and-white coat and rotund body. Though classified in the order Carnivora, the giant panda primarily eats bamboo, with shoots and... read more
Grown pandas just want to be left alone to eat their honey, chew on their bamboo, and do nothing at all.
Baby pandas are so energetic and want to escape from everywhere! The world is a better place with pandas around!
Why are house pets always at the top of every list for the cutest thing? Give love to Pandas, Polar Bears, and Sea Otters too.
They are cute as babies and look magnificent as adults.
They're so fluffy and kind. They act like a human mother, not in a cruel way. Just look at them.
These ears are too cute. It's a shame that pandas are almost extinct.
-
Pig
A pig is any of the animals in the genus Sus, within the Suidae family of even-toed ungulates. Pigs include the domestic pig and its ancestor, the common Eurasian wild boar, along with other species. Related creatures outside the genus include the peccary, the babirusa, and the warthog.
Teacup pigs (piglets of the potbelly pig) aren't all they're cracked up to be because they're constantly being genetically modified and cross-bred to become even tinier and gain public appeal. Poor piggies!
But pigs overall are the most amazing animals ever! They're so tiny, fuzzy, squishy, warm, playful, happy, smart, and pink! Best animals ever, and they are friends, not food!
Pigs are actually smarter than dogs. I'm not saying they're better, but they definitely don't deserve to be so disliked. Pigs actually roll in the mud to keep cool on hot days, you know? So smart and so amazing! Go team pigs!
Pigs… wonderful animals. Nice colors, cute big nose and ears, curly tail, cute little legs… adorable! They are rather silly little pals. Hmm, how about their personality? Of course, not all pigs are friendly, but many of them are peaceful, and some can be very affectionate towards humans and other animals. You can find cute moments where they're being protective of their piglets. I love them!
-
Guinea Pig
The guinea pig, also called the cavy or domestic guinea pig, is a species of rodent belonging to the family Caviidae and the genus Cavia. Where do I start with guinea pigs? They are like fluffy little potatoes with stubby legs, and their heads are literally all face.
They have such sweet temperaments and are so affectionate. I've had 3 guinea pigs, one of whom is dead now, but all of them had such different personalities.
Guinea pigs should be no. 1 on this list because they are the sweetest little creatures!
Yes! Top 10! They totally deserve this! They are the most amazing little animals, and you would never expect it... unless you have or have had one of your own, of course!
I have had four little pigs over the past few years, and the most recent one has been the love of my life! I absolutely adore her, and she's actually sitting on my lap right now! I recommend these sweet pigs so much! I simply can't express my love for them enough! (They should be number 1!)

Maybe cute looks aren't their biggest flash point, but dolphins have very clever minds. They are one of the smartest animals!
They are very smart, very friendly to humans, and will often help people drowning (though I hear this seems to be instinctive). By these points, they are the most lovely.
After all, lovable should not be confined to appearance. Although they look really lovely too.
Dolphins... where do I begin? Dolphin plushies are cute, but I don't think real dolphins are.
There are comments saying how sweet and smart dolphins are, but remember what list you're on. Cutest animals.
I'm not trying to offend people or disrespect their opinion, but I just don't see the cuteness in dolphins.
-
Squirrel
Squirrels are members of the family Sciuridae, which includes small to medium-sized rodents. This family includes tree squirrels, ground squirrels, chipmunks, marmots, flying squirrels, and prairie dogs. Squirrels are known for their bushy tails, agility, and food-hoarding behavior.
I like how they make nests and hide nuts.
Not my first choice because they run away before I can see how cute they actually are.
Squirrels are so cute the way they run and stuff acorns in their pouches and hold acorns!
They're so fast too!
Squirrels are always in my backyard. They run up trees and chase each other, like... I don't know, SQUIRRELS!

?
Shoebill
Often regarded as creepy looking, I think they're cute due to their comically large beak and feathers sticking out of it's head make it look funny looking and have that brow that makes them look perpetually grumpy too. Plus they're friendly to humans too even bowing to them.

American Woodcock

Koala
The koala is an arboreal herbivorous marsupial native to Australia. It is the only extant representative of the family Phascolarctidae, and its closest living relatives are the wombats. Koalas are known for their distinctive appearance and reliance on eucalyptus leaves for food.
I love koalas! I had a best friend for five years until I saw a picture of her holding a koala at the zoo.
Now I hate her because I'm jealous that she held a koala. She STOLE my koala!
If I go to Australia, I would love to see those. They are so adorable and innocent. Who doesn't like koalas?
They're so cute. I think if I put my arm out to a koala bear, it would cuddle my arm until I'm dead.

Sadly, there was one snapping turtle who got its shell stuck in a plastic ring and grew up with the ring around it.
Luckily, the co-founders of the 5 Gyres Institute found the turtle in a drainage canal and cut the ring off in 1998. The turtle now lives at the Star Eco Station, and her shape has improved over time.
The turtle has since been dubbed the Mae West Turtle due to its shell shape.
Turtles are so cute and underrated! Somebody told me a heartbreaking story about a turtle that got its head stuck in a bottle someone left on the ground. Sadly, it was too late to remove the bottle. That turtle is now used in classrooms as an example to teach children not to litter. I hope the kids love him and are kind to him!

And there are normally some hedgehogs in the night, so I give them some milk in a small bowl!

Red pandas are very cute. This is actually the animal featured in the Firefox logo, not a fox. Firefox is just a cool name for red pandas.
Fire ferrets from The Legend of Korra look to be a mix between red pandas (Firefoxes) and ferrets, which is pretty cool.
Red pandas should at least be before squirrels. These little babies are endangered, the worst thing ever.
I hope their population increases and lasts for a long time!
Red Pandas are so sweet and adorable. They DO NOT deserve 12th place. How dare people treat these little cute fellows this way.
-
Chipmunk
Chipmunks are small, striped rodents of the family Sciuridae. They are native to North America, except for the Siberian chipmunk, which is primarily found in Asia. Chipmunks are known for their cheek pouches, which they use to store food.
You have to admit that these animals are so darn cute. I can't ignore it.
They are so small and precious. When you watch a chipmunk sit, you can see its mind racing and its head jerk this way and that.
Chipmunks should definitely be on this list.
Undoubtedly the cutest rodent, although there are many other rodents that are absolutely adorable.
Chipmunks are just the cutest when they are babies or older.

Ferrets are THE cutest! I mean, after cats. And hamsters and red pandas. But still.
These critters are so small and crawl around wherever! But they are a little mischievous too!
My superb ferret says that he is the cutest, and he will prove it. Google how a ferret sleeps, and you'll see for yourself!
Ferrets are so cute. Go to the pet store, and look at the ferrets for a good while. They are so cute.

They are always swimming and playing with each other. So cute!
I love otters! They are so cute! They should be number one!

My mom LOVES tigers, and I can see why. Tigers are so beautiful and very skilled hunters.
It breaks my heart that they're being hunted to the brink of extinction. There are already 3 species that are extinct.
Sooner or later, they will all probably be extinct. How can people wipe out such a beautiful and amazing creature? There's more to life than money!
They are the cutest of all. Their fluffy and baby-like appearance makes it so hard to imagine that these kittens are capable of killing humans.
Tigers are so fluffy and beautiful. 10/10 would cuddle with a tiger, as long as it doesn't rip me to pieces. Why are cats so lovable?
