Top 10 Worst Performing Lord Units in the Fire Emblem Series
This has nothing to do with personality, hotness, or anything like that. It's about how effective they are to use in their respective games.
-
Micaiah (Radiant Dawn)
It's bad enough to be a squishy lord, but do you have to be slow too?
-
Lyn (Blazing Blade)
While a good character, especially when the game came out, she is one of the bottom-tier units. She usually gets 2HKO'd by enemies and most times takes two rounds to kill. She also has pretty bad Constitution to boot.
She uses swords, which only gives her one range, and on promotion she gains bows, which have 2-range (or 2-3 range for the Longbow). This means she's likely going to have a bad enemy phase, and she can't survive many hits in the first place. Hector starts with axes, so he can use Hand Axes from the start. Eliwood has slightly better defenses to survive longer and gains a horse and lances on promotion, letting him move around maps better and use Javelins for stronger enemy phases.
She's usable since FE7 isn't that difficult, but there are a lot of units better than her. The only good thing about her is the Mani Katti, which puts her on par with others using an Iron weapon.

Eirika (Sacred Stones)
Has a lot of the same problems Lyn has, but gets a horse on promotion, so she gains better movement.
-
Eliwood (Blazing Blade)
He's pretty squishy early on, and the late promotion does him no favors. Even his promotion is a discount Paladin, and he doesn't even get axes.
-
Marth (Shadow Dragon)
Been forever since I played it, but I've heard some people complain about him.
-
Leif (Thracia 776)
Used to be thought of as a bad unit, but I think the arguments made about his stamina and the like make me think not so much.
-
Roy (Binding Blade)
He's usually considered the worst lord unit. But considering his game is pretty hard and he doesn't have as many accuracy issues as most other units, I think he's decent. He also supports the overpowered cavaliers in this game and makes the final boss easy. His late promotion sucks, though.
-
Claude (Three Houses)
Love him, but the best he was as a unit to me was mediocre. He doesn't really belong in the same tier as those above him, but the other lords I can think of are just way better than mediocre to me. Edelgard, Byleth, and Dimitri are definitely better, and a lot of regular units are better to use too.
-
Ike (Path of Radiance)
Personally think he's a great unit, but thinking of other lords, I just don't think he surpasses those I can think of.

Seliph (Genealogy of the Holy War)
