Top 10 Best Mortal Kombat Fights

These can be from the movies (1995, 1997, 2021, etc.), video game cutscenes like MKX and MK11, or the series such as Conquest and Defenders of the Realm. As long as it's not a fan-made fight and is officially seen in any of the canon timeline mediums or official releases, it counts.

  1. Reptile vs. Liu Kang (Mortal Kombat)

    10/10 best fight scene in the whole franchise, in my opinion, and Traci Lords' "Control" as the BGM is a major highlight, matching in perfect synchronization as Reptile moves like fluid dynamics in suave motion. Reptile for the win!

    The announcer declares "Reptile" in iconic intro style!

    Reptile enters his humanoid form and slam-kicks Liu Kang through the wall, bouncing in after him and launching a parallel kick at Kang's neck. After downing him, the two engage in an epic blocking and punching parade where they both land hits. Reptile falls, fuming from beneath his ninja mask, and Liu Kang uses a spinning stone to slam into Reptile. Then Liu Kang unleashes a ruthless combination of dominating punches, sending Reptile backwards and out of breath. Before Reptile can recover from the onslaught, Liu Kang fiercely charges his massively painful bicycle kicks, sending Reptile out of the wall whence they came. He then jumps through and steps on what remains of Reptile, eliminating the awesome ninja warrior.

    "The energies they waste with their sniveling... I would use to capture souls."

    (Although technically he would always say "we" like in the games since he's an amalgam of many souls, that's okay because the line is still awesome.)

  6. Motaro vs. Jax (Mortal Kombat: Annihilation)

    "Without your weapons, you are no match for Motaro."

  7. Goro vs. Johnny Cage (Mortal Kombat)

    "I am Goro! General of the armies of Outworld and Prince of the subterranean realm of Shokan."

  8. Cyrax vs. Sonya Blade & Jax (Mortal Kombat: Annihilation)

    "Death is the only way out!"

  9. Jade vs. Liu Kang (Mortal Kombat: Annihilation)

    "How can you beat Shao Kahn when I alone am too much for you!?"

    "Conga Fury" by Juno Reactor really matched the Jade sequence well when she warped into her guise.

  10. Shang Tsung vs. Liu Kang (Mortal Kombat)
