Top 10 Inventions in the Last 200 Years
I have to agree that the world could be better without the internet. But at the same time, without the internet, you wouldn't be able to know what is happening in the world, such as politics. You might not have even known that there would have been a vaccine for the coronavirus. You might not even know that Neil Armstrong was the first man to step foot on the moon.
You wouldn't be on this computer or whatever you are on right now if there was no internet! I would probably die without the internet. The only thing that would be good about no internet is my homework.
I love cars so much I would die for the Bugatti Veyron and the Ford Mustang. How cool would it be to own your dream car? Cars are to die for.
Automobiles. Proudly serving the world since 1885.
I don't know what I would do without cars. They sound so good and are fast. I just love them.
Antibiotics and vaccines have helped us conquer our deadliest enemies. Killers like smallpox used to wipe out entire villages, killing and maiming countless individuals. These technologies ended this destruction, have raised life expectancy, and decreased the impact of deadly diseases dramatically. And yet antibiotics are fourth?
Antibiotics and all immunity-boosting drugs should be bracketed together. Although they work slightly differently, the principle remains the same: increasing internal fighting power against viruses and bacteria.
Without this, the internet, automobiles, computers, TVs, phones, digital clocks, and much more would have been invented way later on, if ever. It's such an amazing invention that it's the unofficial symbol for a good idea.
Without it, we can't see in the dark, so there wouldn't be any interior rooms. Cars can't see in the dark, so you wouldn't drive at night. There'd be no monitor for your computer, and thus there'd be no internet for this list.
We need nightlights because they keep you safe and alarmed. They help kids with their fears and give them reassurance in the dark.
The personal computer makes so much information easily accessible.
After that, the second greatest invention was the mute button.
As if this wouldn't be in the top 5.
I knew it! See, John Logie Baird, the Scottish inventor, made the TV.
Airplanes help us go from country to country. Nowadays, we can go from one country to another, make new friends, or study outside our country.
And it's portable and wireless, ladies and gentlemen!
Without this, people would get lost forever, have to drive themselves to get food at 3 a.m., and more.
I personally think that a refrigerator is a lifesaver because it keeps our food nice and cool.
The Newcomers
One of the most versatile vehicle types ever created.
Everyone uses it, and people use it for school and jobs to research like I am now.
Save the moment forever and then use it to rub in how much fun you're having to the people missing out.
Electric guitars gave us music. Music gave us The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Queen, The Rolling Stones, and many more great artists. Therefore, without electric guitars or instruments, we wouldn't have music.
Who does not like explosions? I am talking about testing, nothing else.
GPS would have been impossible without satellites. Navigation, many app-based services, and delivery depend on GPS. Even modern warfare depends heavily on GPS.
I can't stand commercials or really just a lot of sounds, so this feature is incredibly useful. The fast forward button is even better, but if I'm watching something live, I can't use it - so this button will do just fine.
You can tell I use it a lot because it's the most worn-down button on my remote.
Next to the wheel, this is the second-best invention. It's all about control.
