This site is absolutely disgusting. Go to one of the "Worst Things on deviantART" type lists and you will see exactly what I mean.
This site was literally never good.

Reasons YouTube has gotten worse in the last 10 years: more ads, heavier censorship, the algorithm pushing what is trendy and safe, creators chasing monetization instead of creativity, and older niche, weird, interesting content getting buried. Can't forget the corporate brand influence only getting bigger as well. Need I say more?
Y'all aren't even mentioning the ads, the constant push to get YouTube Premium, and censorship via AI. They are fighting for all of these and alienating so many customers.

Brain rot for instant gratification types.
It was always bad.

Discord
It seems like they haven't learned anything from their controversial "data breach." Now Minecraft wants to add that too, and it's for kids. In 2030 or sooner, we will have a data breach.
-

Now they are trying to make the avatars look very realistic. You can call this game "Noblox," and this is what they are doing for their 20th anniversary.
I just stopped playing Roblox at this point. They run into a big hole every single time.
When they added the age verification, I barely started coming online.
-

Reasons Reddit is worse. Convos on there feel like an echo chamber, karma farming, repost bots galore, the site decides what shows up first based on popularity or what keeps you scrolling instead of what was newly posted, and old niche communities are dying or going private.
I lean left nowadays, but the lefties on Reddit actively hijack non-political subs and bring all their bot friends and downvote people who are trying to push topics back on track. These people can't possibly be real.
Worst site ever.

IMDb

Reasons I think IMDb is getting worse.
Review bombing, forums got shut down, more ads, and a corporate feel. Ratings feel less trustworthy, and it feels like promotion and marketing instead of a big community film database.
I hate IMDb so much.

IXL
When I used this back in, I don't know, 8th grade, I literally almost threw my computer across the room over this.
-
Album of the Year
I think the website is getting better with the updates, but some of the people can disrespect your opinion. Opinion bashers, opinionated users.
Like with this one review I did on Meghan Trainor's All About That Bass: What the F**k do you mean you like this song? It's literal s***. How could you like this garbage? And I used to type with capital letters back then until about when I made the Barbie list and started to use lowercase, and he bullied me for it.
I also said this Ariana Grande song sounded like Taylor Swift and it was giving Taylor vibes, in my opinion.

Ah yes, the obligatory adding of this website because everyone likes to be negative. Yes, it was better back then. Yes, it had a user base. Blah.

Character.ai
Ever since they removed multiple chats and the edit button, it's been getting worse. Now they have age verification.

Pinterest
I'm on this site, but I found a couple of "The Music Freaks" leaked Season 2 images. How did they not get their membership taken away? I know some people can't wait for TMF Season 2, but why are you leaking it to non-members? I just look at photos and not the leaks. They need to stop leaking Rosy's membership before they get banned.

Love how ever since Elon took over, there's always some weird error and such. Many times it's "Something went wrong" or "Your account may not be allowed to perform this action."
Also, the "For You" section never gives you what you want, and recently they did something similar to the "Following" tab. Oh, and they also log you out automatically even if you have cookies saved.
