Egnomacs Movie Review #5: Hotel Transylvania 2
egnomac Next up on my review is Transylvania 2 The movie opens with Johnny and Mavis's wedding, then on to Act I Dracula finding out Mavis is pregnant ends up giving birth to Dennis who Dracula becomes really fond of and is convinced that Dennis will be a vampire and then we have Mavis being an overprotective mother like father like daughter is so overprotective that she wants to move Johnny, herself and Dennis to place where he will be safer.Act II
Not wanting Mavis and her new family to move away Dracula and Johnny come up a ridicules scheme to try to make Dennis a vampire lind of rehashing the plot from the first movie, Johnny and Mavis travel to Johnnys hometown while Dracula and the rest if his monster friends go on a road trip to help Dennis become a monster with no success even taking him to a vampire camp which has been totally wussified wirh the gayest camp councler I've ever seen Dracula throws him off an incredibly tall and unsafe tower in order to get him to fly which already sounds like a bad idea it fails and the tower collapses Mavis eventually realises somethings wrong and her and Johnny travel back to to the hotel whileDracula and the others raceto get back home before Mavis does, they arrive only for Mavis show up first even tough there's no way they could have gotten there first especially by flying as a bat carrying Johnny Mavis realises that Dennis isn't safe around her father and decide to leave the hotel.
Act III
Before leaving Mavis decides to have Dennis' s birthday party at the Hotel with Johnny's family and invites grandpa Vlad which upsets Dracula since Vlad hates humans and doesn't know Mavis is married to a human or has a grandchild long story short Dracula disguises Johnny and his family for the party to fool Vlad then tries to purposely scare Dennis into getting his fangs but it becomes to much Dracula stops it and reveals everything to Mavis and Vlad Dennis runs off followed by a pointless fight sequence with Vlads monster friends then surprise the kid finally gets his fangs Vlad finally accepts the humans and monsters coexisting together and everybody lives happily ever after the end.
My Final Thoughts: If you liked Hotel Transylvania then you might like Hotel Transylvania 2 if you didn't you defiantly won't enjoy this movie.

Hotel Transylvania 2 wasn't as good as Hotel Transylvania in my opinion. The first one I thought had better plots and was more interesting than HT 2. While both are good movies, the first HT movie was better in my opinion. - visitor
