Top Ten Best Detective Conan Movies
Detective Conan movie series is a series of original and innovative art work in detective fiction.Keep in mind that this movie is from 2002. It covers things that Hollywood animation movies didn't cover at that time. The idea is kind of original. Yusaku is amazing, and the soundtrack was astonishing!
Anyone who doesn't think that THIS IS THE BEST DETECTIVE CONAN MOVIE doesn't understand how movies work!
Been looking for Jack the Ripper-related movies/stories. Never thought there's one in Detective Conan, until now. Epic thriller as usual!
The best movie for Sherlockians! It includes a really interesting virtual reality game, and Conan saves everyone. Plus, there were father-son moments of Yusaku and Shinichi. Truly awesome.
It's so good! I really loved when Haibara and Conan were acting like parents to the Detective Boys. It was so cute. This is definitely one of my favorite movies!
This is my favorite movie so far in the Detective Conan series. Conan and Haibara act like parents to the Detective Boys.
I really like this Conan movie because I cried all the time. I like sad anime.
That moment when Kaito Kid disguised himself as Shinichi - priceless!
I like this movie the most! Every second of it is full of mystery and makes me nervous! Especially at the moment when they escaped from the explosion in the car that flew from the skyscraper! I never tire of it! Never!
This is one of my favorites! With the Black Organization also in action, this gives some really thrilling moments. The circular storytelling at the end is also excellent, and really, it was a countdown to heaven!
Amazing deduction of a crime, and in the end, a bomb indeed as if running after them. The name Countdown to Heaven is justified. Bombs were planted by the Black Organization to catch/kill Sherry/Haibara.
This movie is good, but it would be better if they got more creative with the crime and the culprit. Also, some of the scenes weren't really original. If you've seen the movie "Speed," you would understand.
But other than that, it's a good, balanced movie.
The first one is usually the best, and the first movie of Detective Conan is one of them. The ending, where Conan (Shinichi) said to Ran that if she dies, then they'll die together, is one of the best scenes in any anime.
Perhaps the best of the Conan movies... loved the architect... such a genius, Leo Joel... must watch!
The romantic scenes are the ones I love the most. When Ai reveals her true feelings, it turned a little sad because despite Shinichi's true feelings for her, his reaction pushes Ai to say it's only a joke.
And when Shinichi confesses his feelings for Ran, "I love you more than anyone else in this world," I love DC so much.
It is Detective Conan/Shinichi's love story. The story is about Ran seeing the killer's face, assumed by the killer. Though Ran lost her memory, the killer still chased her to kill her. Conan rescued her every bit till the last and at last caught the culprit. Mind-blowing.
I really like Heiji and Kazuha together, especially when they were young! They're perfect together! Love it!
Yeah, definitely. This movie had a pretty unique plot, and you couldn't guess until the end what was happening. Moreover, the last part is mind-blowing!
Wow, just WOW! This movie is a masterpiece! I love every second of it - especially the plot. A mind-blowing movie~
Another thing I like about this movie is that basically all the Gosho Boys appear, even if Hakuba (SPOILER ALERT) wasn't actually with them.
Agreed. I mean, you used to predict the end every second, but it was new! The end... Kaito, my love!
It had the most breathtaking finale. I was cheering for the heroes the whole time!
Best teamwork ever! Kid plus Conan... just awesome.
Spoiler Alert- I know this doesn't have much of a mystery, but honestly, I absolutely love the action. It's the only movie that focuses on the Black Organization (some others only include them), but the main reason I love it is that it has my favorite and second favorite characters - Akai Shuichi and Furuya Rei. Seeing their fight and then seeing both of them team up with Conan, whom I already love, is just...an amazing trio! Not to mention a rolling Ferris wheel! CuraƧao's sacrifice was really unexpected as well. I just love it!
I haven't watched it yet, but from the summary, no lie, I think it's good.
While I was annoyed with the misleading advertisements leading up to this movie (something Movie 19 also pulled), I remember being really impressed by the level of paranoia and threat they managed to communicate from the Black Organization. This effect was achieved despite this being one of the serial movies and thus bound by the status quo. It slowly ramps up the tension, stays focused the entire time, and has a real weight to the plot.
Though Conan's leap at the end (kept vague to avoid spoilers) has a mathematically low chance of actually hitting the target, it still feels like a believable chance due to the desperation of the situation (and escape being the primary goal, with hitting being a secondary one). It lacks the silly, over-the-top, obviously contrived feeling the "epic" stunts and climaxes of the later movies have, like flying around using the centrifugal force of a satellite dish (looking at you, Movie 21 - at least Movie 14 was able to make the utter ridiculousness fun). The movie also maintains the consistent entertainment and weight of earlier DC movies like Countdown to Heaven (Movie 5) and The Last Wizard of the Century (Movie 3).
My biggest problem with this movie is that it isn't canon, so all the really interesting ramifications from something this big happening got dropped after the movie ended. This kind of event and the following investigation would theoretically have changed everything due to the police being intimately involved with a Black Organization conflict. Such a waste...
The scene where Kogoro solves the real mystery in the end is mesmerizing!
This movie is mostly about Conan and a person from the Black Organization. Didn't expect it to happen, but it was a good movie.
I love this movie, especially the climax. Oh my, Rei Furuya, I wish you were real. No doubt it's the number one highest-grossing Conan movie. So epic!
I like it when Shinichi really does his best just to solve the case for Ran.
I can see the headlines now: "Child with bow tie thrown off a moving blimp by fake terrorists." Wow... never forget the bow tie...
I did not choose this movie because of Kaitou Kid. Oh man, he is not as smart as he should be, and his appearance is unacceptable. Behaving like a joker who is so intelligent? No way.
I chose it because of the thrill of the virus spread by terrorists. In the end, the motive was so different. Amazing story.
It kinda has everything you would want in a movie.
This was the first DC movie I watched, and I absolutely LOVE the Kaito Kid action scenes. No joke, I want to be his sidekick. The best part? IT'S ACTUALLY CANON! My complaint for this movie, though (although it's just small), is that Nakamori thought Kid actually committed acts of actual terrorism. Come on, he's his rival. He should know better. Heck, he even knows when Kaito Kid is not really himself.
This plot was rather interesting. Kaito Kid comes up to steal the famous sunflower painting. It has a lot of action between Conan and him. It was a good movie.
Really awesome! Conan really comes into action, and Subaru/Akai also appears. "The Real Silver Bullet Appears."
This movie was REALLY good. Especially where they saved Kazuha and Momiji. There were some exciting parts, where all that marriage stuff comes from. All of this action makes this a great movie. It shows how Heiji cares about Kazuha.
Movie 21 is out, yay! You have to check out that movie if you like moments of Heiji and Kazuha. I saw it yesterday, and it was very beautiful. The best and one of my favorites is The Phantom of Baker Street - the best ever.
This movie is all about Heiji Hattori's love story, but also the art of the Karuta card. The climax was awesome. There wasn't a moment of boredom. Hattori's stunt was amazing, plus Conan's stunt in the first part of the movie.
This was the newest movie so far since its release in 2019. The setting is in Singapore, where Ran, Sonoko, and Ran's dad came to see Makoto Kyogoku's battle. However, Ran asked Shinichi, and so Conan asked Haibara Ai for the medicine, but she refuses since it's too dangerous.
A little while after that, he found himself in a dark place, feeling like he was in a suitcase. He then heard Sonoko and Ran's voice, needing to go outside of the dark place. But he found out that he looked different and noticed there was Kudo Shinichi, who is the Kaito Kid. I recommend you guys watch the trailer first because you will get the idea of it. This was probably the BEST movie I've ever watched. There is a lot of action, and some things you might want to watch.
It's just a great movie. It has a really good Shinichi and Ran moment at the end! Even a kiss between the two. It is also well detailed and has an amazing backstory that relates all the way back to Detective Mouri's last case as an officer (meaning when he had a badge and gun and worked for the police force). It even manages to show a serious hardworking detective side to him!
This story is full of mystery and underwater buildings. Plus, it showed why Kogoro quit his police job. Awesome.
This is the best movie! My favorite: football at such speed combined with thrill, a bomb blast, Conan's deduction, and the last free kick to defuse the last bomb - just mind-blowing!
It was one of the best DC movies and deserves a lot more hype. People who love football along with action and bombing need to watch it. I absolutely recommend this masterpiece.
It's probably the best crossover I've ever seen.
