Best Music Artists and Bands that Have Released Three Albums or Less
This list is about artists and bands who we don't expect to release further material, either because they retired from music business long ago, disbanded, died or simply didn't release anything for years. Compilations and so on don't count.Their songs were so heartfelt. They fall under the category of teen pop, but they took this genre to s whole another level. They wrote all their songs themselves, they played the guitars. Their topics evolved around not being ready yet for a relationship, not liking who the mirror shows you to be, being heartbroken, or being "the right one" despite being unperfect. It's things every one can easily relate to, and they deliver it without any melodrama. They had an unusually mature view on life, and despite often singing about the downsides of life, always remained positive and kept a cheerful tone in their music. Unfortunately, Marit Larsen and Marion Raven parted ways after only two albums, and each had a solo career. Their solo albums were good as well, but neither's discography is as stunning and touching as the two M2M albums. I am still puzzled that "Shades of Purple" is not seen as a modern day classic.
They hated touring and each other; so much so that they could only stand to be together for slightly over a year, but it was sheer magic while it lasted. The Hall of Fame careers of the members, and spinoff bands like Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Loggins & Messina, and Poco pay homage to the original band's greatness.
