First song by ADTR that I heard, and it still remains amazing! This was the start of it all, and without it, I wouldn't have gotten obsessed with probably the best band in the entire world!

Very relatable. It has a great tone, and the lyrics are nice. The main reason I like this is because it relates to most of the things that happen to teenagers these days, and to me that is really something special.

This song has such a great background track to it that I can't even describe it. It gets ya hooked from the start. Not to mention the lyrics... Although they may be hard to understand, they still prove an impact.

The pure energy from this song just surges through me. The sharp melody and the abrupt break in the bridge make this song an undercurrent of power anyone would want to hear for vengeance, or just to feel straight up good.

This song deserves #1. It's what (ironically) got my introduced to this absolutely amazing band, and I've been obsessed ever since. This track really shows how talented they are; they can do the hardest metalcore you've ever heard, or they can slow it down for an equally impressive and beautiful acoustic masterpiece. I LOVE THIS SONG! It's my favorite song by my favorite band. It's incredibly easy for people to relate to it, and there's no (screamo), as many would put it. Don't get me wrong all of ADTR's songs are great but Jeremy's voice is too nice to be used for screaming. Anyway, love the band and this song!

I actually translate this song as a joke towards how seriously teenagers take themselves and their plans… This is held more evident by the video, overexaggerating high school struggles. I find this to be a humorous, ironic satire on teenaged kids. It all depends on how you look at it. Still a great song, I love the beat, breakdown, lyrics, all of it.

HOW IS THIS NUMBER 8! This is the first song besides if it means a lot to you that I listened to from them and I think it deserves at least a number three spot on the list. Great vocals, great screaming and overall great song!

Yes, I agree: this does not include metalcore-style screaming compared to their other work. However, this song remains to be their most solid track. Why? Despite the lack of screaming, the guitars remain to be influenced by the genre, and Jeremy's pop-punk vocal style is, as always, infectious. The best part about this song, however, is the lyrics. Honestly, I personally cannot find another one of their songs that I could relate to as much compared to this one. It tells the perfect story of someone being tied down by the people around you, trying to prevent you from being yourself. I could ramble on and on, but I don't think it would be neccesary. Just give it a listen - you will NOT regret it!

One of the great styles of A Day To Remember. They give you pop, they give you punk, and they give you screamo. This song is more on the range of the screamo and if you have ever been to an A Day To Remember concert, when they get to the part in the song where they say, "Disrespect Your Surroundings," it gets rowdy. I personally would place this song in my top five based on the fact that I enjoy their screamo songs (I.e. 2nd Sucks, Life Lessons Learned The Hard Way, Sticks and Bricks, etc.)

Yo from a hardcore adtr fan this is their best song. "You should've killed me when you had the chance" is the girl metaphorically saying he should've cut her off. the part in the middle where he talks bout killing her is him planning to cut her off. "the writing's on the wall" in the chorus is with her blood. the ending "but should I write it all off? " is him deciding to, instead, forgive her again. she then chants "you should've killed me when you had the chance. crazy

Should definitely be #1! This song is absolutely therapeutic in all aspects. The vocals, guitars, and drumming are beyond brilliant. I recommend this song to anyone, whether you listen to ADTR regularly or not!

Heavy, fun and kind of creepy. Due to the potency of their lyrics combined with the inventive middle passage, I'd have to say that while it's not their best, it's close up there.

This song is new, so it has a lower spot as of October 16th 2013, but this is one of the most beautiful songs by any musical group that I have very heard. I listen to this song and it reminds me of my home back in Sarasota, of the things that I've done and felt. It's a beautiful message and expression of inner peace and love. Very beautiful song.
