    Overall, I thought it was a pretty good final album for Megadeth and Dave Mustaine. While it has a couple of great songs, Dave Mustaine's vocals sound exhausted on most tracks, and you understand why he decided this album would be his last. Anyway, thank you for everything, Dave.

    One of the first great electronic music releases of the year. I liked it a lot.

  6. The Mountain - Gorillaz

    Gorillaz did it again! They managed to bring together several world music influences and blend them without the whole thing feeling disjointed. The music will definitely take you to another dimension. Welcome back, guys!

    I love how Jack White can remain consistent after nearly 30 years of activity. Like his previous No Name album (which is definitely his best solo album), it's very much rooted in blues rock without sounding like a rehash. Welcome back Jack!

    Another excellent album by Olivia Rodrigo, who proves once again that she's one of the most gifted songwriters of her generation. Every song on this album is heartfelt and turns even the most basic details, emotions, and situations into quotable lyrics. Her songwriting has also rightfully matured, and she's not showing any signs of slowing down. Already one of the greatest albums of the year. Welcome back, OR!

    Only at No. 68, beneath a bunch of no-name metal albums. Like, seriously, this is the greatest album released this year.
