Best Songs from Paradise Lost's Ascension

1. Tyrants Serenade

   

   I was surprised when I heard the chorus. The verses sound nice and crunchy like in Tragic Idol. Hits just right. Nick's voice is great as always. The album sounds dynamic.

2. Silence Like the Grave

   

   The atmosphere and chord progression have a very True Belief and Tragic Idol vibe, but with a sudden twist. Very Icon. The lead riff (epic!) makes me feel energetic and sentimental. I love how it picks back up again after the bridge. It feels like it will be an iconic classic one day. I find the music video fitting, and it makes me want to wear armor.

   More fuel for the fall vibes. Even the album cover's colours are autumnal. The verses are relaxing. The backing vocals are great.

    Yes! I was hoping this list would be here. Paradise Lost kicks so much butt. They crush it as usual. The chorus is amazing, airy, roomy, and epic. It reminds me of a fusion between As Horizons End and Solitary One.
