Top 10 Best Bangladeshi Drummers

The Top Ten
Sheikh Monirul Alam Tipu (Warfaze)

The most consistent drummer who can play different genres without any difficulty. He played in many bands, but among them, he was a regular drummer of Warfaze and Winning. These two bands are totally different in their music genres.

The most diversified, experienced rock drummer in Bangladesh. He has successfully touched almost all genres of rock music. He is the best drummer in the history of Bangladesh.

The greatest and coolest drummer of all time, who has made significant contributions to the music industry. We are grateful to him.

Milton Akbor
Fanty Ahsan Elahy

He is the pioneer of the Bangla Band music's drum sound. He can play local music styles. While playing with Nagarbaul, he created some great scores.

Pantho Kanai Jewel (ex-Souls, Nagar Baul)
Raef al Hasan Rafa (Aurthohin)

His drum work is just way too awesome. Sometimes it feels like he is smashing you instead of his drums. At the same time, he does his vocal work perfectly, which is incredible.

I don't know much, but I do know one thing: Rafa is the best, with his playing technique and unique voice.

He is such a good musician. With his drumsticks, he plays like a machine!

Syed Ziaur Rahman Turjo (Miles)

I don't understand why he's not even in the top three. Certainly, he is one of the finest drummers in Bangladesh.

Rumi Rahman

He is well-known for his versatile rock playing.

He is one of the most stylish drummers in Bangladesh. He is the founder of Legend and Aurthohin. He has played for many successful bands like Ark and Dalchhut. He is especially skilled at session playing.

A contemporary session drummer, specialized in tonal clarity, with more than 20 years of experience.

Versatile playing is crucial for sessions in Bangladesh. He is a very stylish and skillful drummer.

Romel (Love Runs Blind)

He is so energetic during live performances and also very stylish.

He is the best! Love the magic of his drumming!

The best drummer in Bangladesh. Every beat is in his blood. Romel is a living legend, and we are proud of him.

Niaz Kamran Abir

No doubt... He is one of the best in Bangladesh! His playing is inspiring!

He's the best. Check him out on YouTube, guys.

Mahbub Rashid (Rockstarta, ex-Miles)

The man who introduced double bass drumming in Bangladesh. One of the best in Asia. He should be in the top 10.

Known as the best Bangladeshi metal drummer.

The guy is just awesome. He played in the wrong era. A great musician.

The Newcomers

? Muntasir Mamun Shuvo (Aurthohin)

Original drummer of Aurthohin.

? Robin Ahmed (Scarecrow)

He belongs to a heavy metal band, and he is famous for his unique double bass playing techniques that make the songs colorful.

The Contenders
Kazi Sajjadul Asheqeen Shaju (Artcell)

He is an absolute beast. He is a technical drummer and simply one of the best (in my opinion, the best) drummers in Bangladesh. The way he plays drums is just awesome.

Simply the best. A beast of a drummer who is undoubtedly the best, not only in Bangladesh but also in the world. Tipu and Rafa are good drummers, but they are nowhere near as versatile as Shaju. He mixes variation, skill, and speed on an unprecedented level. RESPECT, man.

Shaju is better than Tony. He's a prog rock/metal drummer, which requires more skills than alternative/hard rock, which Tony plays. I have never found Tony's drumming to be that unique - not like he deserves the third position.

Obayet Mostofa Shorif Pappu (Ovation)

His thinking is different from others.

Tony Vincent (Black)

Tony Vincent, the glorious entity of classical and modern rock and progressive drumming. He has added some unique ornamentations and off-beats in drumming.

Want to master tuning and beat-making with drums? He is the man!

The most significant aspect of his playing is his drum tuning. No one can tune like him.

Tasbirul Islam Nibir (Grimorium Verum)

You may call others better, best, etc., but I've seen a great musical soul in him. Not only in Grimorium Verum, but in our Noise Factory @ KU, to all rock and metalheads, Nibir is an asset.

You may consider others as better, but I've seen a great soul of music in him. For Grimorium Verum, Noise Factory, and KU, Nibir is an asset for Bangladesh as well.

The machine! And one of the youngest extreme metal drummers.

Samiul Momith (Bay of Bengal)

He is one of the best drummers in Bangladesh, playing with powerful feel and motion.

Best drummer! Our proud Sami Vai! I hope he soon reaches the 1st position on this list.

The best drummer of Chittagong, I must say!

Shahriar Hassan Autul (SIN)

I don't have enough words to explain what he means to me or how much I love his music.

What I can say is that I got a chance to see him perform live. Now I can die in peace.

Autul is not just a drummer but also a very good composer and writer. He can sing while playing drums! Another unpopular opinion is that he is also a very, very good guitar player too. Versatile musician! A rare gem. Truly one of the best rock drummers!

This guy is something else! I've seen many drummers out there, but his playing style is so cool! Surely one of the best drummers I've seen so far!

Mark Don
Pavel (Chirkutt)

The best drummer in the world. Pavel is wonderful with the drumsticks. He plays difficult music with ease and is one of the greatest drummers in Bangladesh.

Nafeez Al Amin (Arbovirus)

When it comes to performance, no one comes close to him. A very powerful player with a tremendous stage presence.

A very natural person with a pure sense of rocking imagination!

Talented drummer... Brought a new taste to the music scene.

Dio Haque (Nemesis)

He is the most awesome and energetic drummer ever! Undoubtedly, he is the best drummer in Bangladesh! Proud to have a drummer like him in Bangladesh!

Riyadh (ex-Love Runs Blind)
Farshed Mahmud (Cryptic Fate)

He should be higher on the list. His drumming beats are fast, with a pretty strong jazz influence.

Mushfique Imran (The Tree, Cry My Name)

Nothing to say about this guy! He is like a beast!

Kazi Ahmad Shafin (Shironamhin)
Ahmed Akif Rahman (Helter-Skelter/Crusader)

One of the best upcoming thrash metal drummers in the underground scene. He is very underrated, and very few people know about him. He is from Old Dhaka. If you want to watch him play, here is his YouTube channel link where you can witness his beast mode drumming with his band Helter-Skelter and his former band Crusader.

One of the best upcoming metal drummers in the underground scene. Though he is very underrated, he plays like a BEAST and is also a very nice human being.
