Best Villain Songs

Any song from any villain, whether in film, TV, video games or the theatre. Put it here!
The Top Ten
1 Hellfire - The Hunchback of Notre Dame

No matter how much I don't usually include Disney villain songs when I go through this list, this one is an exception. It's truly one of the perfect villain songs. Latin chanting in the background, great visuals, great vocals, etc. Deserves to be number one.

Although Be Prepared has been my all-time favorite Disney song since I was three (and it still is), I have to admit that Hellfire is in another league compared to other villain songs. Its orchestra, choir, animation, themes, and composition are phenomenal. Plus, the expression that Tony Jay had in his voice while singing it was the icing on the cake (you could really hear the torment that Frollo was going through).

2 Be Prepared - The Lion King

Scar is FAR better than Frollo.

Be Prepared is the best song from the movie, while Hellfire is overshadowed by Bells of Notre Dame.

Making a song about killing your brother? BE PREPARED indeed. Scar has the best animated villain song ever.

3 In the Dark of the Night - Anastasia

Jim Cummings does a great Christopher Lloyd impression.

4 Poor Unfortunate Souls - The Little Mermaid

Best Disney Villain song for us to sing. It's so good that Hellfire and Be Prepared just don't feel like they're scary or close to being perfect. This one is perfect. Ursula is amazing.

Slow buildup to a bombastic conclusion.

5 Friends On the Other Side - The Princess and the Frog

This one was pretty creepy and inspiring.

6 It's Our House Now - Mickey's House of Villains

This has to be the best Disney Villain song in the world. You thought Be Prepared or Hellfire were perfect? Well, you are all wrong! I want you to go check this song out and come back and tell me what do you all think!

Best Disney villain song ever! Better than any other songs from Disney. I love seeing all villains together.

7 Cell Block Tango (He Had It Comin') - Chicago

Velma Kelly, Roxy Hart, and their corrupt lawyer Billy Flynn are far better than Scar.

8 Oogie Boogie's Song - The Nightmare Before Christmas

Wow, along with the eerily glowing visuals of skeletons and torture devices, Oogie Boogie gives me the chills with his songs. Along with the fact that he plans on torturing and killing Santa Claus.

9 I Go Looney - Batman the Killing Joke
10 Secret of Survival - Mr Toad's Wild Ride

Underrated, the Weasels are terrifying.

The Contenders
11 Ghidorah Theme - Godzilla: King of the Monsters

So terrifying! At least there are vocals. And Ghidorah is so evil. He's the best villain that could ever exist. This is much more epic than Hellfire and many more.

12 My Lullaby - The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride
13 Toxic Love - FernGully: The Last Rainforest

Tim Curry's sensuous voice makes this song intoxicating (no pun intended)!

14 Cruella de Vil - 101 Dalmatians

This song would be better if it were sung by Cruella herself.

15 Mother Knows Best - Tangled
16 Epiphany - Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
17 Holding Out For a Hero - Shrek 2
18 A Night on Bald Mountain - Fantasia

Ten times better than Be Prepared. Chernabog is scary! I know there are no lyrics, not saying much, because this song is a million times more interesting than Be Prepared.

19 Mean Green Mother from Outer Space - The Little Shop of Horrors
20 Dentist - Little Shop of Horrors
21 We are Number One - Robbie Rotten
22 The Room Where It Happens - Hamilton
23 Grim Grinning Ghosts - Disney's the Haunted Mansion Ride

Remember that segment from that Disneyland Disney-Sing-Alongs on VHS where it only features a few Disney villains in a scene and it takes place at the Haunted Mansion? Because that version of the song is better than the actual ride itself (it's too fast).

24 Snuff Out the Light - The Emperor's New Groove

Why did they cut this song? It was because they had to completely change the plot. Still, it's pretty great though.

25 Prince Ali Reprise - Aladdin
