Best Villain Songs
Any song from any villain, whether in film, TV, video games, or the theatre. Put it here!

Hellfire - The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Although Be Prepared has been my all-time favorite Disney song since I was three (and it still is), I have to admit that Hellfire is in another league compared to other villain songs. Its orchestra, choir, animation, themes, and composition are phenomenal. Plus, the expression that Tony Jay had in his voice while singing it was the icing on the cake (you could really hear the torment that Frollo was going through).
While Be Prepared is great too, this one has got to be my favorite villain song of all time. It lets us look inside the soul of a villain, not just hear him singing about his plans.
Quite dark and serious for Disney, it almost makes me feel sorry for this ass Frollo. Also, Tony Jay's performance is brilliant.
-
Be Prepared - The Lion King
Scar is FAR better than Frollo.
Be Prepared is the best song from the movie, while Hellfire is overshadowed by Bells of Notre Dame.
NUMBER 1!
It's the best by far. The chill vibe Scar has is amazing, and I love the visuals.
Making a song about killing your brother? BE PREPARED indeed. Scar has the best animated villain song ever.
-
In the Dark of the Night - Anastasia
Jim Cummings does a great Christopher Lloyd impression.
-
Poor Unfortunate Souls - The Little Mermaid
Best Disney Villain song for us to sing. It's so good that Hellfire and Be Prepared just don't feel like they're scary or close to being perfect. This one is perfect. Ursula is amazing.
Slow buildup to a bombastic conclusion.
-
Friends On the Other Side - The Princess and the Frog
This one was pretty creepy and inspiring.
-
Cell Block Tango (He Had It Comin') - Chicago
Velma Kelly, Roxy Hart, and their corrupt lawyer Billy Flynn are far better than Scar.
-
It's Our House Now - Mickey's House of Villains
This has to be the best Disney Villain song in the world. You thought Be Prepared or Hellfire were perfect? Well, you are all wrong! I want you to go check this song out and come back and tell me what do you all think!
Best Disney villain song ever! Better than any other songs from Disney. I love seeing all villains together.
-
Oogie Boogie's Song - The Nightmare Before Christmas
Wow, along with the eerily glowing visuals of skeletons and torture devices, Oogie Boogie gives me the chills with his songs. Along with the fact that he plans on torturing and killing Santa Claus.
-
Cruella de Vil - 101 Dalmatians
This song would be better if it were sung by Cruella herself.
-
Secret of Survival - Mr Toad's Wild Ride
Underrated, the Weasels are terrifying.
-
?
Doronbo Shirake - Yatterman
-
?
It's Terror Time Again - Scooby Doo on Zombie Island
-
I Go Looney - Batman the Killing Joke
-
My Lullaby - The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride
-
Toxic Love - FernGully: The Last Rainforest
Tim Curry's sensuous voice makes this song intoxicating (no pun intended)!
-
Mother Knows Best - Tangled
-
Ghidorah Theme - Godzilla: King of the Monsters
So terrifying! At least there are vocals. And Ghidorah is so evil. He's the best villain that could ever exist. This is much more epic than Hellfire and many more.
-
Holding Out For a Hero - Shrek 2
-
Epiphany - Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
-
Snuff Out the Light - The Emperor's New Groove
Why did they cut this song? It was because they had to completely change the plot. Still, it's pretty great though.
-
Dentist - Little Shop of Horrors
-
Sweet Transvestite - The Rocky Horror Picture Show
-
Playing With the Big Boys Now - The Prince of Egypt
-
This Day Aria - My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic
-
You're a Mean One, Mr Grinch - How the Grinch Stole Christmas
The best version comes from the Grinch musical.
-
A Night on Bald Mountain - Fantasia
Ten times better than Be Prepared. Chernabog is scary! I know there are no lyrics, not saying much, because this song is a million times more interesting than Be Prepared.
-
Mean Green Mother from Outer Space - The Little Shop of Horrors
