Top 10 Best Creed Songs

Since Creed is an awesome band I made a list. Creed is so awesome it's hard to pick a number 1!
The Top Ten
1 One Last Breath

Great song! Great lyrics! Meaningful song, deserves #1 spot! Perhaps one of the best songs by Creed.

What great lyrics, man, simply awesome! I listen to it every day and enjoy doing so! I have listened to it for two years, and still, I haven't gotten tired of it. This one's a must for everyone.

Amazing song, and I love the vocalist's voice when he says "Hold me now, I'm six feet from the edge." The feelin his voice has brought the song to life. And not to forget to mention that the guitarist did a great job! All hail Creed!

Man! What a song! Awesome lyrics and damn amazing music. I love each and every second of it. From the beginning, the way he sings itself is enough to leave you in tears. The point where the drums start will just push you over the edge, man! My first Creed song, and I got blown away!

2 My Sacrifice

The bridge of this song just haunts me. Fell in love with it the first time I heard it. Non-stop riffs, but it just keeps you stuck to the flow. Superb!

Awesome song. "My Sacrifice" is a song I can't stop listening to. My favorite song by Creed yet. Still have to listen to "One Last Breath".

Gorgeous. Actually, "One Last Breath" is my favorite, but "My Sacrifice" is second only to that song, in my opinion.

3 With Arms Wide Open

This song is very personal to the band, and especially to Scott Stapp. He wrote this song for his first son, Jagger. Then, after Creed split up, Mark, Brian, and Scott formed Alter Bridge. Mark had two boys, and Scott had two daughters. When Creed got back together, this song meant a lot to all of them because it had a meaning for the whole band. This is a song that they will never be tired of playing every night they are on tour.

The one thing I love about this song is the lyrics and the guitar. Mark Tremonti was good when he was with Creed and sounded good, but when he went to Alter Bridge, he got so much better as a guitarist. He is by far the best guitarist, if not one of the best guitarists out there. He was great with Alter Bridge, and when I heard him with Creed on their reunion tour in the summer of 2009, he was amazing. Not to mention, this song was by far the best song he played on that tour.

I watched the first time that Creed played this song in June of 1998. He sounded good. Mark came a long way with this song, and now it's even better to listen to in concert. Listen to Mark during the My Own Prison days (1997-1999) and Human Clay days (1999-2000) and Weathered days (2001-2004), and now listen to him on Full Circle and the old songs he plays in concert. He matured into a guitarist that I thought he would eventually.

As much as I love Creed, them splitting up in 2004 was the best thing that happened to Mark as a person.

4 Higher

This was the first Creed song I heard. Now, this song left an everlasting impression on me. I learned more about the band and heard all their other songs, which, of course, were all great. But I will always be thankful to this wonderful song which introduced me to Creed. This song rocks.

I love EVERY Creed song, but Higher is my favorite song ever! I listen to it every day, and I play it on guitar every day. The song has so much meaning, and it still gives me chills.

My first listened Creed's Song. It made me curious about Creed. Now I am a good fan of Creed. Undoubtedly, Creed is one of the best alternative rock bands in the world.

5 My Own Prison

This song speaks to me in a way like never before, and the vocals are great with that beautiful guitar riff. I listened for the first time, and I already love it. Except for One Last Breath, this is going to be one of my best Creed songs.

This is the best song with huge lyrics. I think most people don't know this song and prefer to vote for mainstream Creed songs like Last Breath or My Sacrifice, a song that I particularly don't like. But over everything, these guys are one of the best post-grunge bands!

This is one of the great songs that put this band on the map. No fame, no notoriety, no celebrity - just a solid song with real pain. I loved it then and love it today.

6 What If

Higher and With Arms Wide Open were what made me buy the album. This song was what made Creed one of my favorite bands of all time. Will be my number 1 for Creed forever, most likely.

This song is awesome. If you saw Creed play it in concert, you'd know why it is so good. The lead singer really gets into the song. Should be higher up.

Amazing song. It has the lyrics that make the guitar seem even more powerful. Stapp knows how to sing when it comes to this song. It deserves a higher rank easily.

7 Torn

Absolute peach of a song. Listen to this loudly with bass boost, and you will not regret it! This beats One Last Breath due to the fact that it's longer, so you get more awesome song time.

How did this fall all the way to number 12?! This song is completely badass in every way. Vocals and guitar are on point, and the song is just so atmospheric and full of energy.

One of Creed's best, in my opinion. It is very awesome, and the singing is great. It almost reminds me of a Pearl Jam song but not so played out.

8 Rain

This was the first Creed song that I ever heard (actually I saw the music video). I was immediately captivated by the soulful singing and the excellent guitar. Ever since then, Creed has become one of my solid "go-tos" when I need to hear good music again. It is hard to find music at this level, both lyrically and musically, these days.

This song has so much meaning, and it is so optimistic. This is a rarity in today's music and is what makes Rain so unique.

It's one of the best songs I heard of Creed after One Last Breath. Heard My Sacrifice and Higher, but this is much better than those two and deserves a top 3 ranking.

9 A Thousand Faces

This is actually my favorite song from the band. The bridge is incredible, thanks to the background vocals, and the lyrics are great.

Definitely worth a higher ranking on the list. Awesome lyrics add on to the nice guitar work.

Such an awesome song from the Full Circle album. Creed is much better than the credit they get.

10 On My Sleeve

In my opinion, this song is one of the best songs on the album. It reminds me of their older songs, like Higher and One Last Breath.

If you pay attention to the lyrics, you'll see just how deep they are. Just the opening line "The eyes around me are so cold, with every chance they steal my soul," sends chills down my body every time. This would definitely be on my top 5.

This song talks about emotion. By saying your heart is on your sleeve, you're saying you openly express your emotions. It is just amazing.

The Contenders
11 Bullets

Best guitar, best intro, a deep, powerful meaning, and all in under 4 minutes. Definitely deserving of at least a No. 7 spot, I'd say (the current top 6 is pretty accurate).

Awesome song, very powerful, my favorite song by Creed followed by One Last Breath. I think this should've been in the top five.

Awesome song. Such intensity and power. I'm just addicted to the intro. Totally deserves to be higher than 9th.

12 Overcome

This was the band's first single from their most recent album "Full Circle". It's a great song and should be in the top 5.

This song's awesome! It should be in the top two actually! Awesome riff in the guitar. Great chorus!

13 Faceless Man

I love this song. This song deserves a much higher ranking on this list. Great lyrics, great guitar riffs. I don't have words. I loved Creed after listening to this song.

I don't like Creed as much, not very original, but this song is damn awesome!

Amazing, underrated Creed song.

14 What's This Life For

This is one of Creed's more underrated songs, in my opinion. A powerful chorus with amazing vocals. For me, it's number two on the list, before One Last Breath.

Such a beautiful song. Really soft melodic verses, followed by the awesome chorus with the amazing backing vocals to really pack the punch.

Should be #1. I cry when listening to this song.

15 One

Are you kidding me? This should be at least top five. Criminally underrated.

Seriously? Listen to this message.

16 Beautiful

All the songs are very awesome, but I think that this song is probably their best. In case you didn't know, in this song Scott Stapp is basically talking about betrayal. When he says, "She wears a coat of color," that's the beautiful outside of her, it's her skin, it's the temptation, but on the inside is betrayal, lies, and evil. She's "Loved by some, feared by others," meaning that the ones who are being tricked or have fallen under her "spell" think they love her, but the ones who see the real her, they fear her. "She's immortalized in a young man's eyes," meaning how easy it is for a man to be tempted just by looking at her.

Then when it says, "So close your eyes, here's your surprise," Stapp is saying that by taking away all her good looks and closing your eyes, the surprise is what you realize is underneath this beauty. It's empty, yet free, but loves no one. By saying "Beautiful stripped me," he's saying how she's betrayed him or "it" has betrayed him. The part I can't explain is the last three verses. Haha, just wanted to give a little background!

17 Are You Ready?

Really underrated, with great guitar and so many good tunes packed into it. This is better than Rain, so hear it.

18 Don't Stop Dancing

This is their most soothing song. Try it and help reach the top 10. Its lyrics and meaning will surely soothe you.

The best for me. The message is just great. But all their songs are great.

One of the greatest songs of all time. Definitely underrated.

19 Pity For a Dime

My personal favorite Creed song. I feel it's aged far better than most of their singles. It's a damn shame it's not higher on the list.

20 Ode

The guitar is great, and Stapp just has a way with heavy metal melody.

21 Who's Got My Back?

Amazing how people don't appreciate this music. Please, listen to it and then vote. This track is complete: it has a great and variable rhythm, and the lyrics are profound! I know it's not "commercial" as the singles, but in my modest opinion, this is Creed's top music.

This should easily be in the top 10 if not top 5. Great music, great lyrics, great vocals. Listen to it before voting commercial!

How is this not in the top ten? Please do give it a listen, people!

22 Inside Us All

Turn it up really loud, then start singing from deep inside. You'll understand why this should be in the top 10.

Awesome song! Most underrated song by Creed.

Great song. Scott sings this with a real haunting quality, and the lyrics and music are awesome.

23 Young Grow Old
24 Unforgiven

Great riff, excellent bass, and all-around phenomenally rocking tune.
