The Top Ten
No Woman, No Cry - Bob Marley

The song speaks to us all about women and problems, but the real thought for us is: No woman, no life. Can't live with them, and, of course, we can't live without them. So cry, grow up, and be the man for that woman. Yes, men cry, and if you haven't started, what are you waiting for?

It's okay to cry and still be a man for that woman. Great Song of Life from Bob Marley. Enough respect to ALL women. #1 all the way.

Best reggae song in the world! Has the original reggae feel to it! I love it.

And honestly, Santeria is not reggae. Not at all. No organ, no soulful lyrics, nothing...

I Want to Wake Up with You - Boris Gardiner
Electric Avenue - Eddy Grant
Buffalo Soldier - Bob Marley & The Wailers

Nothing better in terms of reggae.

Ganja Smuggling - Eek-A-Mouse

It's just beautiful, even when the lyrics are about killing a Mexican dude.

Greatest song ever, in my opinion. Bradley Nowell is a genius!

? Is This Love - Bob Marley

That is what I have asked myself so many times. Bob Marley reaches the root of our hearts with his unique voice that soothes the soul and his gentle, loving, compassionate lyrics.

I have taken trips to Puerto Vallarta and the Caribbean, drinking rum and Coke with his songs highlighting so much awesomeness. He has left so many memories in our hearts and minds. "One Love" is my very favorite song of his. I was sure I had found my one love through his music.

Thank you, Bob Marley, for allowing me to feel the gentle beat and lyrics of your incredible music.

? Precious, Precious - Toots & The Maytals

One of the sweetest reggae songs ever.

The Contenders
Zion Train - Bob Marley

Get Up, Stand Up - Bob Marley & The Wailers

Reggae at its pinnacle. The best.

Red Red Wine - UB40

My dad heard this song playing while my playlist was on shuffle. He said he used to listen to this back in the day. What a piece of art.

Proves that the reggae version is always better, no matter which piece, no matter who wrote it.

It's an awesome reggae track. This is, without a doubt.

Baby, I Love Your Way - Big Mountain

You can listen to this one while you're at the beach. Big Mountain has a cool and clear voice.

What a Wonderful World - Ziggy Marley
Kingston Town - UB40

This is the best reggae song ever. It deserves the number 1 spot! It just has a story behind it.

Amazing song. It can turn you from angry to happy and relaxed. There is magic in Kingston Town.

Best reggae song ever. Perfect melody and lyrics. Can relax a monster in just seconds.

Redemption Song - Bob Marley

I listened to this when I went to the Hundred Islands in the Philippines. While I was on a boat, my hand felt the water as we passed by. I saw the sand, the sky, the trees, and the islands. I felt the air, the water, and the peace within me. I breathed in the sea and the cool air. I heard the sea, the birds, the boat, and I heard and felt Bob Marley's soul. It felt so good to be alive.

When I listen to this song, I don't need to close my eyes to remember being in paradise. Paradise is not a place. It is when you feel inner peace and gratefulness to be alive. It was great that I was also in a place that matched what I felt at the time.

You could feel his heart and soul in this song. I think this should be in the top 10.

True Love - Soldiers of Jah Army (SOJA)

SOJA is my favorite band! I really love their music.

Johnny B. Goode - Peter Tosh

Johnny B Goode and Zion Train are the only songs in the top 20 here that would make my top 100 of reggae songs.

I think the majority of people who voted don't know reggae at all. There are some very average inclusions.

This Is Reggae Music - Zap Pow

The first reggae song I've heard in my life, and I think it remains one of the best reggae songs ever.

Bad Boys - Inner Circle

Inner Circle has great songs, especially this one.

One Draw - Rita Marley
