Best Sick Puppies Songs

The Top Ten
1 You're Going Down

The music video is terrible, especially because it cuts out some parts.

For example:
Actual song: "Define your meaning of fun, is it running or guns?"
Video: "Define your meaning of fun, to me it's what we're getting done (or something)."

It also refuses to use the word "hit," which is dumb. But the real song is really good.

The music video contrasts the actual song by using children and water guns. However, the video closely resembles Saving Private Ryan, a very serious war movie. It suits the theme of conflict perfectly.

This is their best song and one of my favorites. It makes me move every time I listen to it. Sick Puppies rock!

2 All the Same

I like this song because it's about a man who loves a girl. She comes to him when she falls, and he lifts her up. Then, she leaves him and finds someone else. She falls again, and it's an infinite cycle. In the end, he knows she's just going to leave him, and he won't lift her again.

Sad...

Just a beautiful rock song. And the acoustic version is even better!

This song got me through a tough relationship. It's one of my favorites to this day.

3 Maybe

Perfect song. My favorite. It talks about our self-image and how things tend to affect us more than they should. We just keep letting things pass by because of our insecurities. We always say it's time to make a change, start doing things differently, or give life another chance, but the fact is that we never really try.

People always judge, and most of the time, they don't know enough. The song conveys all of this with a perfect rhythm and beautiful lyrics. Maybe it's time to change - yeah, maybe it is.

Chances are, you've heard this song before. Absolutely anyone can relate to it.

Everyone has insecurities they don't want to show anyone. If we all let go of those insecurities, the world would be a better place, and people wouldn't be so scared of not being accepted.

4 Riptide

This song talks about how people need to mind their own business and focus on their own families. No one has the right to tell anyone how to live their life, and this song makes that clear.

This song has no competition for sure. The bass guitar at the start is just sick, and the chorus is epic.

"I won't justify the way I live my life" - serious meaning, too.

5 Howard's Tale

Really great song, in my opinion.

I agree. It's my favorite song by them.

6 Odd One

Awesome piece of work. The instrumentation is a class apart.

7 Pitiful
8 War
9 What are You Looking For?

Anyone who has ever gotten into a fight with their boyfriend or girlfriend will relate to this song.

The lyrics basically say that you need to think carefully about who your partner in life will be. This song speaks about reality.

10 My World

This song is perfect for a depressing moment. I honestly think, because of the sad story, it should be number one!

Also, why isn't Survive on here? Come on, guys!

This song is aimed at people who have been left behind by someone. You can easily relate to it. This song made me cry.

You people have this at No. 8? I'm insulted. It should, without a doubt, be in the top 5.

The Contenders
11 I Hate You

This song describes the cycles in every single friendship or relationship I've ever had.

"Every time I end up breaking you, you change into something worth keeping." I break my friends sometimes, and then I regret it and want them back.

"Every time I'm close to saving you, you change into a sin worth believing." Every time I don't break my friends, they break me.

12 So What I Lied
13 Anywhere but Here

If you've lost someone important, you'll understand this song. It's hard to be in the same place where you have so many memories.

Don't blame yourself. The lyrics speak to you, and Shim's voice is perfect for this song.

14 There's No Going Back

This is the best song they have because they use their voices as a very powerful tool.

I love the vocals in this song, but most of all, I love the message.

This song is really good. The chorus is so catchy.

15 Survive

This song is pure adrenaline! It's amazing when you're running or climbing - amazing in general!

16 Cancer

Awesome song. It makes you think about your purpose in this world - or humanity's purpose.

Are we its steward or its cancer?

17 Poison

Great ballad with great metaphors. Shim's vocal range is incredible.

18 A**hole Father
19 Should've Known Better

I don't understand why this song isn't a single. It's fantastic!

Chris does amazing on the drums, while Anazi plays her heart out on guitar. Shimon couldn't have sung it any better. His voice adds harshness and makes it sound even better.

This song is about an angry relationship that's tough on both members. The hinting of cheating and the harsh tone of Shim's voice fit the song well.

How can you listen to Sick Puppies and not love this song? Come on, their music is great overall, but this song definitely takes the cake for me.

20 Telling Lies
21 Monsters
22 Don't Walk Away

This song is about asking someone not to leave and apologizing for mistakes. It's about regret and the hope of resolving differences.

Most people can relate to this feeling.

It's not my #1 song, but I vote for it so it could be in the top 10 at least. It's such an amazing song that puts so much emotion into it.

What! This should definitely be in at least the top 5... Really emotional, and the lyrics are just too touching.

23 Rock Kids
24 In It for Life

An amazing song with just the right balance of style. I'm not sure how this isn't ranked higher.

25 Too Many Words

Shim sings about a breakup with someone, and it hurts, but at the same time, it's a relief.

Anyone who has gone through a tough breakup will relate.
