Best Songs On Black Sabbath's Paranoid
This song is about man's desire to kill and destroy. Black Sabbath got the idea from war stories they heard when they performed at an American Air Force base during a tour of Europe. They wrote the song while in a grim, deserted place in Zurich, where they were playing for a small sum of money to an even smaller audience. Why isn't this #1? It's among the best rock/metal songs ever and is the best Black Sabbath song! Whatever.
1. War Pigs
2. Fairies Wear Boots
3. Iron Man
4. Hand of Doom
5. Paranoid
6. Planet Caravan
7. Rat Salad
8. Electric Funeral (basically the only song on this album that isn't amazing, in my opinion)
Every section of this song is fantastic. The intro is perfect, the guitar solo in the middle is jaw-dropping, and the ending is spectacular. This has to be one of the best songs of all time.
Yay, it's number 1 where it belongs! It's way better than Paranoid or War Pigs.
The best song by Black Sabbath on one of their best albums.
GET 'PARANOID' OUT OF THE TOP 3! I don't think 'Paranoid' is bad, but in comparison to other songs on Paranoid, it's just a bit boring and... normal. For me, it's too short, too overrated, too 'beat'.
Listen to 'Electric Funeral,' 'Fairies Wear Boots,' and 'Hand of Doom.' If you really like heavy metal, you'll love them!
Reflex in the sky.
War Pigs is a good song, but Paranoid is a great song.
This song has everything to be number 1. Come on!
The quintessential metal song for everyone.
Great lyrics, great bass, great drumming, great guitar riffs. A really underrated song on this album.
After "Iron Man," "Paranoid," and "War Pigs," this should have been #4.
This has to be the second-best song.
It's a very unique song by Black Sabbath. I love it.
This should be ranked higher because it's unlike any other song on the album.
The drum solo is phenomenal!
