Top Ten Most Fun Instruments to Play
Vote on what you think based on your opinion is the most fun instrument to play. Or if you don't play one, what looks like the most fun.
You have so many options in atlernating the sound, like no other instrument, beside the voice of a human. Of course, there is a difference between an electric one and an acoustic. I prefer the elctric. It seems easier to play at first, but is much harder to master in the end. When I've started the guitar 25 years ago, it was a really tough time to get into it, but when you start to have fun and make pauses, when your fingers are telling you to, you will begin to progress a lot. Actually I personally know no one who can play the guitar like myself. It is not meant arrogant, but I just have never met one. So to be good in playing the guitar takes a lot of effort and time, which most people are not willing to invest and maybe a young age is a good start for any instrument, which I think helped me a lot. So what I want to say, the guitar is probably one of the most popular instrument to play, but there are not so many people who are able or willing, to get good in it. But in the end, I think it doesn't matter, if you just want to play the guitar just a little or with all the possibilities. The guitar can be an easy instrument to get into and also a hard to master one, so either ways, it is an instrument you can have a lot of fun with.

I played piano for four years. I took a year off, and it's great sound and fun technique inspired me to take piano lessons once again!

Only ballers play saxophone.

The flute is by far one of the most beautiful instruments in my opinion, both sound and looks. I started playing in junior high, and I was a bit discouraged at first. I couldn't even play a whole note in 4/4 120 bpm. The flute takes a lot of dedication, but it's 101% worth it. It trains your breathing, and it's just overall an amazing instrument.
Flute is the best by far. I mean yeah, it takes LOTS of breath, but it's worth it. Flute also can help you with certain sports, like swim. So yeah. Play flute
It has really cool notes you can play and you can play Rudolph the red nose reindeer , Frosty the Snowman

Clarinet is clearly the most superior instrument. It is very well balanced and creates such a majestic sound. It also looks very beautiful. Clarinets blend nicely with all other instruments and can play almost anything.
I actually play the clarinet and I think that once you get to learn the notes/rhythms eighth notes, sixteenth notes, and runs are really fun.
I've played it for 8 years and I love leaning the new songs and hearing the rhythm showing through! It has such a lovely tone as well!
I am primarily a guitarist, but the ukulele is just so much more fun to pick up and play, it's light, the strings are easier on the fingers, chords are easier and it has a sweet sound. Would make a great instrument for someone new to the guitar family as it is tuned very similarly. Feel like a traitor since guitar is my main instrument, but at home, this is the instrument I keep nearby!
Portable, inexpensive - you can't not smile while playing the ukulele!
What other instrument can you join a club of fellow players having fun singing and accompanying songs?
Yes the ukulele is the most fun and fashionable instrument and is now being taught in schools as it's also easy to play.
It's a fun and portable interesting instrument to play, plus it sounds super nice.
I think that trombone is an extremely fun instrument to play and that it can do a lot of things that other instruments cannot do! It also has a lot of memes and sound effects to it's name.
It's practically a toy with a rich sound. A crying shame it gets boring parts.
I pay trombone and it's so, so fun! Shame that it always gets boring parts

I played the trumpet and it was pretty fun and it sounds great. Songs that have the trumpet in them are Cheerleader, All you need is love, and lots more. It usually is involved with the national anthem at sports games, that I if you live in the USA.
The trumpet is very versatile, and can play jazz, march, classical and much more. Played well, it could produce an incredible and majestic sound that would resonate throughout the band.
I used to play this, then I switched to percussion, but for real, this instrument is a beast.
Bass is underrated. Of all players, bass players are overlooked the most. Bass is awesome and fun.
Bass adds soul to the music. And you can groove to it as well!
If you like it deep, then the bass is for you.

The cello is often regarded as the closest to the human voice. It can reach high notes as well as low notes, while performing all genres of music well.
I play the cello. It's just the perfect range. And it doesn't sound terrible when you first start.
Where is cello on this list? Where?
I've played the euphonium for 7 years in school, it's amazingly easy to pick up and learn the basics for (especially because of the loose lip positions), has a wide range that sounds cool, and can play many parts when you're good. It's so sad when they only get bass parts.
"I love the Euphonium because it has a really wide range you can play. The only thing is they play the bass parts with the Tuba, Bass Saxophone, and Bassoon.

I play bass guitar and I I always get asked why don't you play electric guitar and it's so Annoying how underrated bass guitar is.
The glue that holds any band together.
The mix of rhythm and melody, creating what is perhaps the most perfect instrument ever.
Ah whatever, it sounds great and it should be appreciated more.
I play bass guitar and I like it better than electric guitar. Bass guitars are so underrated
I prefer the vienna horn
But for french horn you have to shove your fist all the way in the bell, so don't talk

I played euphonium, baritone, trumpet and mellophone and in the end tuba is the one that always makes me smile, something about the low bass sound that allows you to play so many meme songs. Also with the sousaphone me and my friends are able to run around in formation while playing low Bb acting like planes, just the amount of stuff you can do with a tuba is amazing, so much fun, recommend to anyone who has the lung capacity
Tuba is a pretty cool instrument. It can sound like an Euphonium sometimes but more like a Bass Saxophone.
Best instrument, if you don't think so, you can fight me.
To be honest it's so fun to see small saxes stare at the amazing saxophone

A Bassoon is a perfect instrument for people who want to be bass but a woodwind instrument.
I LOOOOOVE bassoon. I learned it in 6th grade- so lucky there was a spot. It is the coolest instrument and can play sooo deep. For all you people who put bassoon as #27 (?) The bassoon is the best. Also, fun fact, a nickname for the bassoon is the "farting bedpost"
The recorder is easy and fun to play.
Not played by many but it's hilariously fun to play around with.
