Agree this song was hugely important for later pop music. It is not my favorite Lorde song, or even close, but it has affected lyrical themes, production, and even singing styles in pop.
It influenced not only newer artists but also some more established ones. Besides being very influential on the sound of pop music, it has also received dozens of covers. It is one of the most covered songs of the 2010s and received praise from many famous artists, including older rock artists such as David Bowie.

Not her best, but it is influential. Good to see it on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time list.

Definitely. If anything, I think this song might be more influential than the top two, although I like them more.
The fact is, it not only gave artists who already released music in Spanish more views (which it did, since there are now many Spanish-language songs with over a billion views), it also led to singers who primarily perform in English appearing on Spanish tracks. Examples include Little Mix, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, and I think even Beyoncé was on a remix of Mi Gente.

This song was everywhere, and Adele is a very popular artist from the decade.
Firework - Katy Perry

Even though time hasn't been kind to Katy Perry, she still had some iconic songs, this being possibly the top pick.

I'm not really fond of Katy Perry, but this song is good. Very uplifting song.
