Top Ten Music Artists that Have Gotten Worse Over Time

These artists have gotten worse over time. Thinking that they'll be able to bring out some difference in their music and all didn't prove to be a boon for them. Or maybe they just didn't sound the same because of death of a prominent musician and other reasons.
The Top Ten
1 Kanye West Ye (born Kanye Omari West; June 8, 1977) is an American rapper, songwriter, record producer and fashion designer. He is regarded as one of the most influential, as well as controversial, artists of the 21st century... read more

Kanye's first three albums (The College Dropout, Late Registration, and Graduation) were all classics and are something that every rap fan has to listen to. His fourth album (808s & Heartbreak) was average, but that was when he started going downhill because of his depression that was caused by his mother's death. His fifth album (My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy) was also average, but this was where we first saw how egotistical he had become. His last two albums (Yeezus and The Life of Pablo) were just garbage and noise with no creative lyricism or unique beats. I miss the old Kanye!

At first, I thought she was absolutely terrible because the first song I had heard from her was one of her more recent stuff, but although I still don't care for her old stuff, it was at least better than what she does now.

It's sad to say, but Madonna is passed her prime. I don't know what's worse nowadays, her music or her showing her ass and acting like she's young on Jimmy Fallon's show.

I love a lot of old Madonna songs (I.e. Like a Prayer, Material Girl, True Blue, Papa Don't Preach, etc.) But even by the late 90's she went downhill. But still love her old stuff! Great picture here too!- D.Natasha

If you think that this band is still good, listen to Battle Symphony and Heavy.
That's all I'm gonna say...

Just imagine her negative frame of mind that fuels the drive to make songs/videos to scorn old boyfriends and beefs with other artists (for more than a decade now).
I'm glad people aren't crazy about her anymore, in few years she'll fade into obscurity.

She's going downhill and uphill again. She makes great albums such as Fearless and Speak Now but her album Reputation is her weakest album at all. However, she's going uphill again with the albums such as Folklore and Evermore.

I went to her concert a few months ago. If I had to choose between her old stuff and new stuff, I'd go old stuff like Blank Space.

6 Bon Jovi Bon Jovi is a hard rock/pop rock band formed in 1983, which had a streak of successful albums in the late 1980s. Unfortunately, yes. After 2000 they started playing mostly country songs, or country-inspired songs. I like their 80s songs very much.

They are awful wayback 80s and 90s and obviously they got much worser with making forgettable and boring rock songs.

I don't think it's that they've gotten worse, but more the fact that I've just grown away from them. I think it's more my state of mind than their musical talent.

They used to be good but they go downhill. They make generic and forgettable pop songs. It just like Adam Lavine and his band. So, I called them Adam Lavine and His Melons or Maroon Boredom.
