Top 10 Signs a Song is Your Favorite Song
I am not saying this is an exact list. I am just stating these things from my experiences. I have seen these things in people. I have also seen it in me. These things can be seen into you too.Anyway, I hope you liked the list. I tried my best. Thanks for reading it :)
I get this almost every day. I made a list of my favorite songs and always switch them around, wondering which ones will be in the Top 5 and which ones will not.
This is pretty obvious. There are a few songs that you listen to every day. More or less, I am sure those are your favorite songs. I mean, who wouldn't listen to their favorite song(s) every day?
There are several I've listened to almost every day for months now, yet they still sound just as fresh as they did on the first play.
I can loop it for a good 10 hours and keep listening while typing at the same time. Hardcore multitasking skills indeed.
One time, I listened to Heaven in Hiding, Walls Could Talk, and Young God in infinite loops.
I listen to Andy Lau songs in infinite loops. My parents find it annoying, though.
For me, it was High Hopes by Pink Floyd. I have always praised the song. You want to show people that you love those songs.
It depends on the song. Subjectively, it's up there. However, this can be heavily debated if you're not careful in defending it.
I do, and everybody does. That's why I think the best song is always subjective.
The solo, the drum beats, the vocals, the riffs, and the basslines. It doesn't matter what kind of song it is. Even if it is an ordinary song without solos, riffs, or bass, you still analyze everything in the song.
I do this more often than the other things on this list.
I couldn't help it after I heard Muddy Waters' Forty Days and Forty Nights. I'm a little bit addicted, and my family is a little bit tired of me being addicted.
I have seen it often. If you like a song very much, slowly you may become a big fan of the genre.
Hmm... maybe that's why I'm getting more interested in jazz.
You introduce your friends and relatives to those songs. You want people to listen to and like those songs.
By memorizing, I mean that after listening to a song over and over, you already know the lyrics.
I memorize lyrics really fast. That's why all of Halsey's songs are my favorite songs.
I sing Heaven in Hiding really badly in class until people ask me to stop. It's like a mini concert you don't want to go to.
I put this last because I couldn't find a good reason. However, I have seen it happen. You may get offended if someone criticizes your favorite song. I used "may" because you might not get offended, but I am sure you won't like the criticism.
I know some people who criticize Rebirthing by Skillet, and I don't get mad. However, I have to admit I get offended on the inside.
Nowadays, I'm neutral about my music preferences because we have experts in their respective genres now.
