Top 10 Best Songs of 2025

You've already heard plenty of tracks on repeat this year, but which ones actually deserve the crown?

Some songs you can't escape because they're blasting out of every car window and gym speaker. Others creep up on you late at night, the kind that make you pause whatever you're doing just to catch the hook again. With so much music dropping each week, the real challenge isn't finding songs to play, it's figuring out which ones actually stick around long enough to matter to you.

That's where this list comes in. Instead of letting streaming charts or label marketing dictate what's "hot," you get to weigh in. Your votes help push the songs that feel fresh, daring, or unforgettable to the top. Maybe you're here to back a rising artist who finally broke through. Maybe you're rallying behind an established favorite who just dropped a career-defining track. Either way, this is your chance to shape the conversation about what 2025 sounds like.

The Top Ten
  1. Abracadabra - Lady Gaga

Mother Monster just released a new banger. It has strong Fame Monster and Born This Way vibes, but it also feels fresh.

I can't wait to listen to the album.

This is my favorite song of 2025, and also my favorite song that Lady Gaga has put out within the past few months.

    I can't wait for Mayhem.

Definitely one to play in the club.

  2. The Fate of Ophelia - Taylor Swift

  3. The Subway - Chappell Roan

This Chappell Roan song is simply amazing. I really like the dream pop vibes and her vocal performance throughout the track. One of her best songs for sure.

  4. Golden - Huntrix

  5. The World is Falling Down (And I Don't Care) - The Arcana

  6. The Giver - Chappell Roan

I like her assertiveness and country twang, plus the beat is nice.

  7. A Brand New Day - Melody Hope

One of the best debut singles ever!

The single and album (HOPE) are now on Spotify, Amazon Music and Bandcamp.

  8. Sports Car - Tate McRae

This is probably the best song Tate McRae has ever released. It has some strong Britney and Nelly Furtado vibes, but the sultry delivery makes it feel like her own.

It's not that good, but it has personality in it, which I usually don't find in a Tate McRae song.

This song is helping to save pop music in what has been a bad year.

  9. Siren Sounds - Tate McRae

    Cute song.

  10. End of the World - Miley Cyrus

Another bop by Miley Cyrus! This has to be one of her best songs ever made. I can't wait to listen to her new album!

  11. The Newcomers
  12. ?

Run & Tell It - Chad Armes & Twakdude

Great song, but it sucks that they no longer provide a sample on here if a song doesn't have a clean version. This means that most of my favorites have no sample, since many of my favorite artists aren't on major labels and don't release clean versions of their songs.

  13. ?

    Nova - Seeming

  14. The Contenders
  15. What Was That - Lorde

Lorde is back with a new banger! It sounds a lot like a song from Melodrama without feeling like a rehash. I can't wait to hear more.

This was an amazing song. Lorde is back.

  16. Claws - The Haunt

  17. Your Idol - Saja Boys

  18. Bad Dreams - Teddy Swims

  19. Freak It - Kim Petras

This song is so fun! I wish I hadn't had to wait till Christmas in July, though! It's the song of the year along with Time, Kuru Kuru Harajuku, Nebula Romance, Bluest Flame, and Abracadabra.

  20. Wheel - Jesse Welles

  21. GCGA - Rittz

  22. Jump - Blackpink

Really great comeback in 2025. Sounds so fresh!

I'm so happy they're back from hiatus.

  23. Hypnotized - Anyma & Ellie Goulding

Surprised this did not chart well.

A nice dance number for 2025. Looks like EDM is off to a decent start this year.

This is a guilty pleasure of mine. I think it feels AI-generated, but it is really catchy.

Ellie Goulding continues to be talented.

  24. Hand That Feeds - Halsey, Amy Lee & Evanescence

An underrated gem in music this year.

  25. Daytona - Karan Aujla & Ikky

Amazing lyricism and flow by Aujla, and great production from Ikky on the "rap rock"-styled instrumentals. It seems like the duo of Aujla and Ikky are just guaranteed to make bangers. My favorite song of the year from my favorite album of the year!

  26. Wasted Love - JJ

  27. The Manifesto - Gorillaz

As good as "The Happy Dictator" and "The God of Lying" are, I have to say that this is the best of the three singles from Gorillaz' upcoming album The Mountain. It features verses from Trueno as well as a posthumous verse from the long-gone D12 rapper Proof. I love the transition between the second chorus and Proof's verse. It gives it a dramatic feel with Murdoc cackling. I can't wait for The Mountain!

  28. Concrete Boxspring - King Iso & Don Trip

  29. Hahaha - Salem Ilese

This looks neat. I only recognize Ava Max on here, yet the rest look new. Pretty interesting.

I like the high energy, along with the great songwriting and beat.
