I like the themes of praying, along with the great songwriting.

Out of all the BP members:

Lisa is making the most commercial music, yet it is the worst, with heavily autotuned singing about money and sex.

Jennie is making music that is just okay, even though One of the Girls is amazing.

Rosé's music is made for TikTok, even though it is actually good to some extent.

Jisoo, on the other hand, despite being the weakest link in Blackpink, actually made the best song out of all three. She should make more upbeat songs with house vibes and deserves more streams than the others.

I love her voice and singing, along with her songwriting.

This song is so great. Rosé's voice is so beautiful.

I'm glad she's still making music. 10 out of 10.

Mother Monster just released a new banger. It has strong Fame Monster and Born This Way vibes, but it also feels fresh.

Surprised this did not chart well.

A nice dance number for 2025. Looks like EDM is off to a decent start this year.

I like the dancing, and the fun music video too.

I'm surprised at how great this song was. I listened to her newer songs last year and didn't like them too much, but this was a great song.

It is easily way better than Brat.

This is probably the best song Tate McRae has ever released. It has some strong Britney and Nelly Furtado vibes, but the sultry delivery makes it feel like her own.

Once again, this is a great song in a very bad era for music.

How are 2024 and 2025 good years for music? Tate McRae, Rosé, Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter, Kylie Minogue, Chappell Roan, and Dua Lipa have been leading the revival of good music.

Shaboozey, ¥$, Joost Klein, Benson Boone, Morgan Wallen, Olivia Rodrigo, Kendrick Lamar (no offense to hip hop music or Kendrick himself, but his newer releases feel like Gen Alpha content), Nemo, Travis Scott (his music was good until 2021), Imagine Dragons (they were okay before 2020), Future, Megan Thee Stallion, and Ice Spice ruined 2024.

I hope the pop artists I mentioned will try to save 2025. I am not hopeful though, because 2025 is already turning out to be a terrible year for music. Betsy, Maria Yankovskaya, Sexyy Red, Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, Shaboozey, Morgan Wallen, Kane Brown, ¥$, North West, and Lola Young are all dominating in a bad way.

This has been hurting artists like Tate McRae, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Mac Miller, Rosé, Jisoo, and Jennie.

Overall, 2025 has had a horrible start. I think the bad music is going to stay popular for the rest of the year, which is sad. I really dislike most mainstream music from 2020 onward.

There is still some hope that good singers like Tate McRae, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Mac Miller, Rosé, Jisoo, and Jennie will help turn things around, but right now they are being overpowered by artists I do not enjoy.
