Top 10 Worst Singers of 2025
You've heard them on the radio, blasting through supermarket speakers, popping up on TikTok, and you've probably wondered how on earth some of these people managed to snag a record deal. Auto-tune can only carry a voice so far before it starts sounding like a malfunctioning robot. Yet here we are, 2025, and the music industry is still handing out contracts like participation trophies.
This isn't about artists having an off day. Everyone flubs a note. You're voting on the voices that make you want to shut off the car stereo, the ones that turn karaoke night into a hostage situation. Some of these names built massive careers on catchy hooks and slick production, but strip away the beats and you're left with vocals that should come with a warning label.

Katy Perry
Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, professionally known as Katy Perry, was born on October 25, 1984, in Santa Barbara, California. She is a singer, songwriter, actress, and has served as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador since 2013.
She is among the best-selling artists ever, with four Guinness World Records... read more
She fell off since "Swish Swish," and continues to fall off, but this marks the year she's really fallen off. She made a "feminist" empowerment anthem that only appeals to dumb 1D fans.
If "Woman's World" were released before 1920, women might not have been able to vote until 1930, ten years after the real-life scenario.
She has to call it quits. Her older music wasn't that great, but she made her older music sound like "Bohemian Rhapsody" compared to everything from 143.
The most failed comeback of last year. Her time has definitely passed.
Edit: She just released a new song that is actually really good. She seems to have learned her lesson from 143.

Taylor Swift
Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter born on December 13, 1989, in Reading, Pennsylvania. I liked some of her songs, but she still sort of sucks for me. She can't understand the concept of feminism and promotes girls to backstab men. No wonder this generation of women (no sexism intended) are mostly backstabbers.
I'm a woman who understands the concept of feminism, but not her. Also, the lyrics on the songs from her new album The Life of a Showgirl gave me a terrible headache. She dissed Charli XCX badly and butchered a William Shakespeare play for stupid lyrics.
Yesterday, my niece played "The Fate of Ophelia" for dancing and it gave me a serious headache. After that, I decided to listen to a mix of music artists such as Izzy Bizu, Khruangbin, Satin Jackets, Jessie Ware, SG Lewis, Wet Leg, and Dua Lipa. They helped save me from the headache.
I don't want to hear any song from her new album. I listened to it all, and it gave me a headache with lyrics that promote girls to be two-faced and weak, and include disses toward others, including poor Charli.

Please stop giving this idiot any attention. The fact that people think he's good is just a general reflection of how far our standards have been lowered for good music.
Tom MacDonald is a wannabe alt-right-leaning Eminem clone, lacking the substance, creativity, or good songs Eminem had. I still remember cringing when I heard Whiteboi in 2017 or 2018.
Facts is so bad. I'm sick of this clown making music, not gonna lie. He's a disgrace to hip-hop and a major grifter.
This year, he released "Daddy's Home" with Roseanne Barr. This is his worst song out of all the bad songs in his discography.

Ian
Production in his songs sounds artificial, and his lyrics are horrid. He sounds like a dying autotuned horse for sure.
1/10. Horrible.
His album Valedictorian was ranked as one of the worst albums of 2024 by Anthony Fantano.
His lyrics are as clichéd as they get, and his beats are very weak.

Not only is he a terrible person who made regrettable life and career decisions, but the quality of his music has also declined.
However, I wouldn't go as far as putting him #1. Instead, I would keep Tommy the MacDonald Clown, a grifter who never made a good song, or Lil Mabu, a drill colonizer, in the top spot.
Literally said I am a Nazi on Twitter and made countless racist and antisemitic remarks. He also humiliated his wife at the Grammys. And let's not forget his awful Heil Hitler song.
I would put him near or at the top just for being a literal Nazi now. But the fact that he's also releasing terrible music in addition to that is what gets him high up on this list. What a horrid album he just dropped, absolute s***e.
When you feel proud to associate with bad people and brag about doing bad things, you need serious help and a smack to the ego.

Lil Mabu
Thankfully, it looks like this jerk is not relevant anymore, and also wasn't for very long.
This rich white kid is so bad that he makes Lil Pump look like Kendrick Lamar.
Mabu's popularity declined at an alarming rate. Almost nobody listens to this guy anymore. Safe to say he isn't making it big after all.
Just a rich white kid doing drill. Probably one of hip-hop's biggest disgraces.
-
D4vd
He's not a terrible singer, but he's likely not a good person, unfortunately. After being exposed for being a pedophile and possibly involved in a murder (this case is very disturbing. Search it up at your own risk), I doubt he's going to have a career for much longer.

She wasn't talented as a dancer, but her music makes her dancing look like the world's best day! Her vocals are fake.
And how does she expect to be a talented singer when she's just copying Skibidi Toilet?
Very disturbing performances, and she is just as unoriginal as most Gen Z singers. From the looks of her music since the "Guilty Pleasure" EP, she wants to be Dua Lipa, Brit Smith, Sabrina Carpenter, JoJo Levesque, and Miley Cyrus.
She is just as bad as Olivia and Sabrina, and also sounds whiny and like a total airbag. She even ripped off Dua Lipa's "Levitating" with that abominable "Iced Coffee" song. Proof Gen Z cannot sing.

Jessie Murph
This chick has some of the most aggravating vocals I've ever heard. Not only does she sound like Bebe Rexha with tonsillitis, but her lyrics are painfully generic.
Her song "Blue Strips" is annoyingly repetitive, and her faux-country accent does not make things any better. I really hope she fades quickly into obscurity.

This guy made "Thick of It," a song that will live in infamy for years to come. I'm glad that when this song came out, people actually learned to have taste in music by hating a song that somehow managed to be worse than half of 2024.
The vocals and lyrics sound AI-generated. Trippie's verse was disappointing. Worst of all, KSI is refusing to accept all the hate the song got. At the same time, KSI released an "apology" for "Thick of It" with a ripoff of Billie Eilish, who I usually don't like. It's called "Dirty."
"Billie"'s vocals are nasal, and worst of all, KSI chose not to tell us who she was. We all guessed it was Billie, but it wasn't. It was Erika Sorola, according to music expert Jarred Jermaine.
KSI is the worst YouTuber.

He's so aggressively mid I can't even take him seriously anymore. When is his breakout song going to be? I've been waiting for his career to take some sort of hard artistic turn, but nothing happens. He's overrated, and I don't understand bro country fans who think he has the best music to drink to.
I know that the album isn't out for a while, but I've heard the singles and they're as bland as hell. Morgan Wallen has never made a good song, in my opinion. You may like his older stuff, but his newer material is some of the worst music imaginable. Plus, he's a racist.

She is one of the best dancers of her generation. She should just resign from her musical career. She really is trying to be Carly Rae Jepsen, Halsey, Britney Spears, Ava Max, Melanie Martinez, Bebe Rexha, and Anne-Marie. Yeah, she is so unoriginal it hurts, doesn't it?
Also, she sounds like a spoiled brat and not even Anne-Marie's "Birthday" can beat "Greedy" in the competition for the most poorly written song of the 2020s. She is not as bad as Sabrina or Olivia, but she managed to be slightly even worse than Anne-Marie.
2/10 Terrible Music Artist
