Top 10 Worst Albums of 2011

You could find plenty to enjoy in 2011, but some albums made the year feel like a test of patience. Maybe the production was obnoxious, the songwriting fell flat, or an artist took a creative gamble that left you wondering who approved the final mix. The most frustrating releases were not always the ones with the least talent behind them, since high expectations can make a disappointing record sting even more.

The Top Ten
  1. Sorry for Party Rocking - LMFAO

Thank God this is finally higher than Lulu. These untalented guys are the reason why disco and deep house (two of my favorite dance music genres) were sadly scarce from 2010 to 2012. Annoying early 2010s beats, horrible production, nostalgia-bait-core anthems, terrible sampling, boring arrangements, bland lyrics. These guys are showing no talent.

So glad they broke up in 2012. It made dance music better and cleared the way for a solid disco and deep house comeback a year later (it became bad again in the early 2020s, unfortunately, due to the second wave of nostalgia-bait-core rising). And LMFAO is not funny at all. Why is will.i.am on one of their songs? They were obviously the leaders of the first wave of the nostalgia-bait-core era, along with Pitbull and Nicki Minaj.

This is still horrible, but it should just be #4 or #5 on this list, not #1 (a little too high, but maybe deserving). "Guilty Pleasurz" by Brokencyde, "Passion" by Anaal Nathrakh, "To Hell with God" by Deicide, or that album BOTDF released that year are even worse, but Sorry for Party Rocking is still crap.

    Best track(s): "Party Rock Anthem"?

Worst track(s): "Champagne Showers", "Take It to the Hole", "We Came Here to Party", "Sexy and I Know It", "One Day", etc.

  2. 4 - Beyoncé

Beyoncé can sing, of course, but she should stop copying other artists and create something new and original. Run the World (Girls) is the stupidest song of 2011.

  3. Lulu - Metallica and Lou Reed

Worst metal album of all time. Well, at least it's only at 11 and proves how terrible pop and rap music is.

    Very disliked on YouTube also.

What in God's name is this?!

  4. F.A.M.E. - Chris Brown

  5. Born This Way - Lady Gaga

What is she doing on the HEAD OF A MOTORCYCLE? SHE DESERVES THE BACK SO BUTTS SIT ON HER! Some Fame Monster, GEE! Oh yeah, she was Born This Way, UGLY!

  6. Tha Carter IV - Lil Wayne

Featuring the terrible hit single 6 Foot 7 Foot!

  7. Talk That Talk - Rihanna

  8. Dedicated to Chaos - Queensrÿche

Why, Geoff, why? You douchebag, this album sucks.

  9. Never Say Never: The Remixes - Justin Bieber

  10. Whatever's on Your Mind - Gomez

  11. The Newcomers
  12. ?

Speak Now World Tour: Live - Taylor Swift

  13. ?

    Here and Now - Nickelback

Instead of doing something to prove their haters wrong, Nickelback released this joke of an album that basically lives up to every negative stereotype of the band. There's tearjerker ballads that sound so sappy that they might as well have been written by Barney the Dinosaur, along with stupid sex songs that have lyrics that are offensive to any intelligent human being on this planet. There's absolutely nothing enjoyable about this album for me other than to laugh about how bad it is.

  14. The Contenders
  15. Doggumentary - Snoop Dogg

  16. 21 - Adele

How come it's at 11%? This is the most overrated album, over Bieber's My World 2.0 and 1D's Up All Night! I hate all of Adele's music, and you will be sorry if you ever listen to her music!

I don't like Adele at all, but there's much worse music.

  17. The Path of Totality - Korn

  18. My Damnation - Chelsea Grin

  19. Dirty Work - All Time Low

  20. Light After Dark - Clare Maguire

  21. Hell in a Handbasket - Meat Loaf

  22. Speaker of the Dead - Emmure

  23. Make a Scene - Sophie Ellis-Bextor

  24. The Devil's Rain - Misfits

  25. Mylo Xyloto - Coldplay

Well, Coldplay went mainstream. Sigh. What's next, KoRn? Oh wait, the crapstep Path of Totality did a number. What the hell happened to music?

  26. Finally Famous - Big Sean

  27. Under the Mistletoe - Justin Bieber

  28. Goblin - Tyler, the Creator

I feel this is the most underhated thing on the site. No one notices it, and this is worse than SremmLife. Disgusting, obnoxious, and the chorus in Radicals is the worst thing related to music. -8/10

  29. BAYTL - Gucci Mane & V-Nasty
