1 Philadelphia Philadelphia is the largest city in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the sixth-most populous city in the United States, with an estimated population of 1,567,872 and more than 6 million in the seventh-largest metropolitan statistical area, as of 2016. And not to mention that Flyers fans threw bracelets onto the ice when they were losing in the playoffs. The bracelets were supposed to be for honoring Ed Snyder, the Flyers owner who passed away.

Philly fans only support their team if they're winning. If they are losing, they start booing their own team. Hell, they even booed Santa Clause! They are also classless and drunk. come on Philly, keep it classy

A kid in my class had a PSA about how the phillies suck. It shows somebody wearing a D-backs jersey getting MURDERED by a philly fan. that better be satirical

2 Chicago Chicago, officially the City of Chicago, is the third-most populous city in the United States. With over 2.7 million residents, it is also the most populous city in both the state of Illinois and the Midwestern United States. Chicago is considered one of the most important business centers in the world... read more

Ok so, in 2007, the Blackhawks were 29th in the league in attendance. Hell, players had to go on the streets and give out free tickets. But then they became good and suddenly have the largest attendance in the league. Bears fans also called Jay Cutler a quitter when he left with a serious injury in the 2010 NFC Championship. But Cubs, Bulls, and White Sox fans are fine.

Chicagoans surprisingly don't have a lot of pride in their city so they turn to sports...

Arrogant idiots that are fair-weather fans. It's obnoxious.

3 New York The City of New York, often called New York City or simply New York, is the most populous city in the United States. New York City is also the most densely populated major city in the United States.

Yankees fans are so spoiled, they go on strike when they don't win or go to a world series. The Islanders almost relocated because of poor attendance, and Jets fans are way too critical.

They hate their own team almost as much as they hate themselves. All criminals. Ugly women everywhere that are actually men.

4 Boston Boston is Massachusetts’ capital and largest city. Founded in 1630, it’s one of the oldest cities in the U.S.

Their fan base is okay. But Bruins fans called Joel Ward racial slurs after he scored the goal to eliminate Boston in the 2012 Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. They did the same with PK Subban 2 years later and belted him with garbage. Patriots fans will hate you forever if you think Tom Brady isn't the messiah (not exaggeration) and they also won't admit they weren't there before Brady.

The accent, The aggressive driving and behavior, that translates into sports

5 Detroit Detroit is the largest and most populous city in the U.S. state of Michigan. Located across from Windsor, Ontario, Canada on the Detroit River, Detroit had an estimated population of 672,662 in 2018.

Lions always have below average attendance, and Pistons and Tigers fans only seem to show up during the playoffs. However, the Red Wings sell out all the time. Why? Because they've been the most dominant team for the past 25 years.

Detroit is pretty bad, They have pride in their sports (and pizza) which is nice

6 Oakland Oakland is the largest city and the county seat of Alameda County, California, United States. A major West Coast port city, Oakland is the largest city in the East Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area, the third largest city overall in the San Francisco Bay Area, the eighth most populated city in... read more

Oakland is a rougher suburb town of San Fran. I don't know if they have major sports, I'm not really a sports person (I'm sadly from San Jose)

Raiders fans are way too passionate. Great fans, but need to tone it down. The Athletics always have poor attendance, and the Warriors fans only seem to show up when they're winning. However, the Athletics and Raiders are on the verge of relocating.

7 Dallas

I don't think that the Mavericks or Rangers have bad fanbases, but the Stars fans only show up when they're good, and why do the Cowboys get to be America's Team? Every other NFL team is IN AMERICA.

I'm gonna put Mavericks fans to the side since there is nothing wrong with them. However, the Stars have trouble filling up seats, and Cowboys fans are MOUTHY!

The Mavs and Rangers fans are fine, the Stars fans have trouble filling up seats when they have good players, and most Cowboys fans are bandwagoners.

8 Cleveland

I kinda feel sorry for Cleveland. The Browns never won a Super Bowl, the Cavaliers never won an NBA championship, and the Indians haven't won the World Series since 1948. But that doesn't mean to wear paper bags over your head. It doesn't mean the Indians have to play in empty ball parks. And the Cavs fans only show up when they're winning.

Cleveland is pretty rough (like Detroit) good thing they take pride in their sports

9 Los Angeles Los Angeles, officially the City of Los Angeles and often abbreviated as L.A., is the largest city in California. It has an estimated population of nearly 4 million, and is the second-largest city in the United States, after New York City, and the third-largest city in North America, after Mexico City... read more

Its all about the Kobe Bryant era for Lakers fans. Kings fans only started showing up when they were good. Clippers, Dodgers, and Rams fans are fine though.

10 Montreal Montreal is the most populous municipality in the Canadian province of Quebec and the second-most populous municipality in Canada. Originally called Ville-Marie, it is named after Mount Royal, the triple-peaked hill in the heart of the city. The city is centred on the Island of Montreal, which took... read more

The only team Montreal has is the Canadiens. They have really great fans that are passionate about their team. Maybe a little too passionate. Tone it down a little? Despite that, they still have great fans.

The Contenders
11 Buffalo Buffalo is the second largest city in the U.S. state of New York and the largest city in Western New York.
12 Miami Miami, officially the City of Miami, is the cultural, economic and financial center of South Florida. Miami is the seat of Miami-Dade County, the most populous county in Florida.

Marlins always play in empty ball parks. The Dolphins have low attendance. However, the Heat seem to sell out. Why? Because they had James, Bosh, and Wade.

Why is there an nhl team here, I know it's in sunrise but I'm going to include the panthers because sunrise is in the Miami area, the panthers get like no fans areas literally like empty most of the time

13 Pittsburgh Pittsburgh is a city in the western part of the U.S. state of Pennsylvania and the second most populated city in the state.

Fair weather fans is all I will say. Penguins almost relocated to Las Vegas because of poor attendance, but then they became good and started selling out. Pirates fans are fine. Steelers fans always invade other stadiums

14 Vancouver Vancouver is a coastal seaport city in western Canada, located in the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia.

The only team Vancouver has is the Canucks. However, their fans always start a riot and burn cars whenever the Canucks don't win the Stanley Cup.

15 Kansas City
16 Jacksonville

Jacksonville only had 1 pro sports team, the Jaguars. But they always have poor attendance. It wasn't like that when they were good.

17 Manchester

If you know anything about football (or soccer, whatever you call it) you'd know both Manchester United and Manchester City are both have huge fan bases. Manchester United has ond of the largest in the world.

18 Toronto Toronto is the most populous city in Canada, the provincial capital of Ontario, and the centre of the Greater Toronto Area, the most populous metropolitan area in Canada. Toronto is an international centre of business, finance, arts, and culture, and is recognized as one of the most multicultural and... read more

To the guy who said that Blue Jays fans only show up in the playoffs, you're wrong. Whenever the Mariners play against the Blue Jays half the stadium (T-Mobile Park where the Mariners play) is Blue Jays fans. Kinda sucks

Though the Maple Leafs sell out every home game, the Raptors and Blue Jays only seem to show up in the playoffs. Maple Leafs fans are known for throwing waffles and t-shirts onto the ice.

When it comes to sports Toronto Sports fans are just terrible

19 Seattle Seattle is a seaport city on the west coast of the United States. It is the seat of King County, Washington.

Seahawks fans are too passionate. The Super Sonics had to move because of poor attendance. And the Mariners have low attendance.

The Mariners don't have low attendance anymore, I went to a sold-out game against the Blue Jays in July.

20 Atlanta Atlanta is the capital and most populous city in the U.S. state of Georgia. With an estimated 2017 population of 486,290, it is also the 38th most-populous city in the United States.

The Braves always play in empty ball parks, the Thrashers had to relocate because nobody showed up to their games. However, the Hawks sell out every home game and the Falcons have good attendance.

21 Washington D.C.

Redskins fans are fine. But the Capitals always played in empty arenas until 2005 when they drafted Alexander Ovechkin. The Nationals are somewhat at the bottom in attendance. And the Wizards, well, they come and go.

Washington wizards fans are racist, in game 3 of the first round vs the Toronto raptors they started chanting "USA" just because the raptors are a Canadian team while most of the raptors players are American

22 San Francisco San Francisco, officially the City and County of San Francisco, is the cultural, commercial, and financial center of Northern California.

The 49ers and Giants have great fans. But they're only on this list because a Giants fan killed a Dodgers fan after a game.

23 Ponce
24 Denver Denver, officially the City and County of Denver, is the capital and most populous municipality of the U.S. state of Colorado.

When Broncos tipped over a portable toilet with a Patriots fan inside, that was too much. The Avalanche fans started to disappear when they fell out of the NHL elite. Rockies fans are fine but the Nuggets always play in empty arenas.

25 Cincinnati

The Bengals fans began cheering and throwing things at Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger when he was carted off the field due to injury.
