Best Invader Zim Episodes
Invader Zim is a 2001 animated television series that centers on an alien named Zim and his mission to conquer Earth and enslave the human race along with his robot servant GIR.
Just a great way to introduce a new character. Plus, the concept was really well done.
The start of an overarching arc in the series, and it's great to see Zim and Dib team up.
Manages to introduce every major character in an entertaining way.
Sure, it's terrifying. But honestly, even though I was putting on a brave face as a child when I watched it, children need to know how to deal with terror and fear. It is a stark contrast from today's Nickelodeon, and it's a very graphic and creative episode.
To put this lightly... it is a cute episode in which organs are borrowed by a cute space alien thing. Even when full of human organs, the little space monster is still very cute. (Hugs the organ-borrowing space monster and gets slobbered on.)
This scarred me for life, but in a good way. I believe watching this at a young age (5) helped build my love for paranormal things, anything mysterious or unknown, and just horror things in general. Also, I love the JTHM comics.
GIR turning seriously threatening is a hilarious and surprisingly well-executed concept!
I absolutely adore this episode! It's a ridiculously simple premise of Dib watching Zim plan his schemes while GIR keeps making waffles. Aside from having some of the funniest jokes of the series, the beauty is just how much chaos they can fit into 15 minutes of watching Zim's kitchen.

"Hey, these aren't bad. What's in them?"
"There's waffle in 'em!"
"YOU'RE LYING!"
That was my second favorite episode. I loved the part when Dib called the FBI, and the guy said, "Hey, you're that Dib kid. Hey, did you ever get that ninja ghost out of your toilet?" And Dib says, "Yes, no thanks to you!" That part was funny. But still, that episode couldn't top "A Room with a Moose."
But it's hilarious! The taco beam, the dance, Gir, and everything else.
But I need this episode to be in the top ten at least! Or else I'll explode.
This episode was definitely my favorite.

This episode is everything Invader Zim can be. It takes place mostly in outer space, which, to me, is more exciting. It introduces the resistance, which immerses you even more into the Zim universe - if that's even possible. I guess what I'm saying is that it stands by itself better than the other episodes. It's a good episode for people to watch first if they don't know anything about Zim. Oh, and naturally, this episode is absolutely hilarious. It's the creator, Jhonen Vasquez's favorite episode, and I can understand why.
The Newcomers
Honestly, an Easter platypus would make a lot more sense than an Easter bunny, mainly because platypuses are monotremes (mammals that lay eggs).
This episode is so funny, and I laugh so hard when Zim stared at the sun and went blind.
One of the few episodes where Zim succeeds and almost gets Dib killed.
This episode is my second favorite. Where's Zim Eats Waffles? Seriously, during that entire episode, I was laughing non-stop. Anyway, this episode makes you cry with laughter. Go and watch it, and prepare your bladder for imminent release! (Yes, he actually says that.)
Oh, I absolutely love that episode! My favorite part was this:
Zim: "And now, Dib, I leave you to your... uh, um."
GIR: "Moosey fate, say moosey fate!"
Zim: "Your moosey fate."
I loved when GIR was talking in the background, telling Zim to say "moosey fate." That's my favorite episode. My second favorite was "Zim Eats Waffles." But, yeah, I loved that episode.
I thought it was hilarious when Zim disguised himself as a fat woman.
Just hilarious is all I have to say to describe this episode. They think a hamster is a human. Come on, that has to be funny. Please vote for this episode.
I love this episode because it takes place almost entirely on an alien planet. Unlike Hobo 13, this one is actually exciting because Zim is urgently trying to escape (not just lazily using his teammates to protect himself). I love it because it's an exotic, alien-like parody of the mundane setting of a fast-food restaurant. Part of the fun is watching him be resourceful with just his moronic wits. Hilarious, as always.
Severely underrated episode! Although I love them all, the nostalgia I felt after rewatching this one was unlike any other episode in the series.
This episode made the series interesting after the few episodes before it.

It's hilarious that the Megadoomer can go invisible, but you can still see Zim there.
I laughed so hard when all the pus came out of Zim's zit and flooded the entire school. It's so random yet hilarious!
