Whether it's Sheldon's unpredictable quirks, Leonard's earnest attempts at romance, Penny's down-to-earth insights, Howard's outlandish attempts at impressing women, or Raj's hilarious inability to speak to women without the aid of alcohol, every episode has something special.
Great! It finally reveals one of the longest mysteries of the sitcom: why is the elevator broken? Answer: watch the episode to find out.
It was a hard choice between this and The Staircase Implementation, but I had to choose this because it's just funnier. Sheldon and Penny going to the hospital and Leonard, Raj, and Howard getting high is just classic. I loved every minute.
I would write my favorite quote from the episode, but there's too many. So I'll go with this one:
"When was your last menstrual period?"
"Next question!"
"I'll just put 'in progress'."
This is my all-time favorite! Sheldon getting Penny dressed, and then when he has to fill out her forms in the hospital!
Then they both sing Soft Kitty at the end as a round! Love it! Love it! I never get tired of this episode!
This episode is just classic. You've gotta love the PMS (Perpetual Motion Squad) and the AA (Army Ants).
This episode is hilarious because of the Leslie-Sheldon relationship. 10/10.
Love this episode. The best quote is when Romana drives Sheldon crazy for too long, and this is the quote:
"Dr. Cooper has just had a breakthrough!"
"Oh, I couldn't have done this without you."
"Oh, please."
"Seriously, you helped me work out the math and the neutrinos. How can I repay you?"
"Would you consider naming this The Cooper-Nowitzki Theorem?"
"Who's Nowitzki?"
"I'm Nowitzki."
"Oh, you want me to share credit?"
"Yeah."
"GET OUT!"
This episode is great because it is the one time that Penny understands how much the guys like their games and, in a way, becomes one of them.
The Newcomers
I could not get myself together after Sheldon's encounter with the man at the Chinese food place. By far the best episode, plus this is when Leonard asks Penny out for the first time.
Sheldon on the back of Howard's scooter is the best Sheldon Cooper moment!
Before this episode, Sheldon and Penny were just polar opposites. They could barely communicate or even stand each other. They had a huge fight only four episodes before this one.
The fact that Penny gave him such a meaningful gift and Sheldon's definitely unexpected reaction put their relationship in a whole new light. Throughout the years, they became the best friends ever, helping and sustaining each other in times of need. Examples include episodes where Sheldon lent her some money to pay her rent, helped her with the Penny Blossom business, and in the very end when she made him reflect about the inevitability of change.
They understood each other way more than anyone else, but continued arguing and mocking each other as if they were brother and sister. This episode was amazing both in itself and for what it started: the most unpredictable yet arguably best friendship in the show.
How is this not number one? I've watched many, many episodes, and this one makes me howl every time.
I love the whole scene where Sheldon is "using" his space the most, but the rest of the episode is great, too, right down to the Bernadette-Amy quips.
It's so great! Sheldon's actually naked in the car!
This is the only episode I've seen Penny get hurt, and it's so funny. My favorite episode.
The look on Sheldon's face as he says But he's just so...Zazzy never fails to crack me up. My absolute favorite episode.
