Top Ten Video Game Campaigns of All Time

The first Halo Trilogy was truly brilliant, the first three games are still worth buying just for their story. While both Halo 4 and 5 had their successful moments in their campaign, they kind of let me down, as I was expecting more from a Halo game's campaign. Out of all the FPS games I have ever played, I think Halo: Reach has the best campaign ever.

Reach is the best campaign I have played by far. 3 and ODST are also fantastic campaigns. Well, basically any Halo game made by Bungie has a great campaign (the one outlier could be halo wars, if you aren't into RTS).

Halo: Combat Evolved is greatest campaign ever. Hands down!

Amazing story, Evan better if you have read the books

You explore a huge world. Twilight Princess' world was very big and fun to explore. Waybetter than bland old 2D Mario games. I like 3D Mario though.

All of the games, exept the Phillips console ones like the Wand of Gameleon, rocks!

For me, there was life before ME, and now there is life after. Life after is better, but also tinged with the knowledge that I cannot ever come to it anew.

The single most gripping game series ever made, with second-to-none voice acting, narrative and depth of characterisation.

Sci fi action RPG at it's best. You feel attached to the story and characters.

This is the best campaign I have ever played. You get attached to the characters and its sad to see them go. At the end of three you can feel the rage pumping through your veins as you seek revenge.

How is this not in the top 3, great realistic FPS games and great emotional campaign

Clearly Modern Warfare 2 is the superior of The 3, but they are all still really good

While some may consider the repetitiveness boring, the way that you learn to perfect all the different game mechanics to absolutely obliterate aliens is one of the most satisfying gaming experiences that I have had.

God of war is the single greatest and longest campaign I’ve ever seen

It's great! Has great grafics, realistic and so on!

I mean, really, just by playing them, you can see how much they have grown over time, and the story lines are just impeccable with their connections.

Breathtaking scenery with impossible to imagine survival scenarios makes this an easy choice for best of game campaigns ever.

How good the puzzles make sense is crazy!
