This is my personal favorite. It's too bad that it didn't get released as the actual final cover. Verve Records ended up using it as the gatefold image instead to avoid a lawsuit.

When I was young, I read about the album and thought that he was saying that the music itself was "even worse" than what he already made. It wasn't until I saw the album cover that I finally got the joke.
