Top 10 Fictional Nerds

After spending years watching a variety of cartoons and playing countless video games, I've come to a conclusion: I frickin' love nerds!

Maybe it's because I'm kind of a nerd myself, or maybe it's because I find their dorky charm adorable. I don't know what it is about them that draws me in, but whatever it is, it works!

And these are the nerds that are the most adorable and charming of all!

The Top Ten
  1. Chuckie Finster (Rugrats)

Again, not my favorite character in the series (it's still Phil and Lil), but I can't help but love him. I admit the show itself gave him a little too much attention, but that's probably because he had a lot of character for a two-year-old. I especially love his adorable cowardice and nasally voice. He's also a good big brother to Kimi.

  2. Kin Kujira (Grojband)

He's my little muffin. I want to hug him so bad. He's that cute. His outfit, smile, and voice are adorable. I just can't get enough of this lovable dork. He will always be my favorite nerd.

  3. Edd "Double D" (Ed, Edd n Eddy)

Edd, mostly referred to by his nickname "Double D," is one of the three main characters in the Canadian-American animated television series Ed, Edd n Eddy. He is the most intelligent of the trio and often serves as the voice of reason. Despite being physically weaker than the other Eds, Edd is known... read more

What I love about him is that he's not only the smartest, nicest, and most mature of the three Eds, but also the smartest, nicest, and most mature kid in the cul-de-sac. He's the only character I truly love in this series and the only one I can truly sympathize with. He's just so polite and well-mannered, and he never means any real harm. It's a shame everyone else in the neighborhood dislikes him and enjoys tormenting him just because he hangs out with Eddy.

  4. Alan Powers (Arthur)

For a while, I couldn't decide who my favorite character was in Arthur, but now I think it's the Brain. He's just so mature for his age and yet still so childlike and innocent.

  5. Twilight Sparkle (My Little Pony)

Twilight Sparkle is the primary main character of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. She is a female unicorn pony who transforms into an Alicorn and becomes a princess in the episode Magical Mystery Cure. Her character is known for her intelligence, love of books, and leadership qualities.

She's so smart and beautiful. I love her attention to detail and desire to learn. It took some time for me to get used to her new princess title, but it's definitely something she deserves for being such a good friend and teacher.

  6. Cody (SuperMarioLogan)

This kid is so funny. He's definitely my favorite character on the channel. Sure, he's a weirdo for crushing on a doll, but he's also really smart and sensible. I like how he always plays the straight man when Junior and Joseph are with him.

  7. Alphys (Undertale)

Alphys is a lab-coat-wearing, bespectacled, yellow-skinned lizard scientist who resides in her lab in Hotland in the critically acclaimed RPG Undertale. She watches large amounts of anime and is responsible for major plot developments, including the creation of the robot Mettaton. Alphys also harbors... read more

She's not my favorite Undertale character (that honor goes to the skelebros), but she still holds a special place in my heart. Her stuttering and social awkwardness add to her already cute personality. To me, she's a better Lisa Simpson than Lisa Simpson!

  8. Cody Martin (The Suite Life of Zack & Cody)

  9. Hermione Granger (Harry Potter)

Hermione Jean Granger is a fictional character in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. She is one of the main characters and best friends of Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. Hermione is known for her intelligence, strong work ethic, and loyalty.

I like Lisa, but she's becoming a bit of a know-it-all, and I don't like how she acts superior to others. Not to mention, she's kind of a wet blanket. Still, her intelligence makes her a good role model, and I admire her work ethic. And hey, even though she chooses not to, she's prone to showing emotion from time to time.

  16. Twist (My Little Pony)

I don't understand why so many people hate her. She was Apple Bloom's only friend before meeting Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle. Not to mention, she was really nice. Diamond Tiara's the one who really deserves hate, not Twist.

  17. Lewis Robinson (Meet the Robinsons)

  18. Lisa Simpson (The Simpsons)

Lisa Marie Simpson is a fictional character in the animated television series The Simpsons. She's the middle child and the most intelligent member of the Simpson family. Lisa is known for her academic excellence, strong moral convictions, and love for jazz music.
