Top 10 Best Sandwiches

The Top Ten
1 Grilled Cheese

This classic sandwich is simple yet one of the best sandwiches humans have to offer. Who else aside from the lactose intolerant wouldn't like this sandwich with melted, gooey cheese?

The best sandwich I've tasted from out of town is not a single three cheese, but triple! And man, was it very savory. It's even better that you can use any cheese to have your own grilled cheese instead of the usual American cheese.

I have a bad history with sandwiches in my lunches. I'd take baguettes over them any day because of the different kind of bread, at least to me. But then I discovered grilled cheese and, well, let's just say it's the only kind of sandwich I want in my lunches these days!

2 Ham & Cheese

I always ate this when I was around 7, and nostalgia still swarms within me to this day. For my go-to lunch, it's always the ham and cheese sandwich and other tasty snacks.

This is another classic that includes a meat eaten a lot.

3 Hamburger

A fat but delicious grilled meat that is always a hit at cookouts.

4 BLT

I tried this for the first time recently, a week ago out of town, and man, was it the most delicious sandwich I've ever tasted! What's even better is that it didn't only include mayo on its bacon, lettuce, and tomato. It also had cheese on it. I loved the idea of their own BLT sandwich ever since. It inspired me to a point where I'll make simple recipes off of BLTs.

Bacon makes everything better, and the tomato and lettuce go well with it. You can even add mayonnaise, avocado, or cheese. It is a work of art that you can eat.

5 Philly Cheesesteak

A delicious sandwich consisting of cheese, onions, and grilled meat everyone loves... Steak!

6 Roast Beef
7 Peanut Butter and Jelly

This is the ultimate classic and all-time favorite sandwich.

It's considered a "childhood favorite"? What? I am 18 and I still love PB&J!

8 Turkey

Pretty much the healthiest meat out there. Healthier than chicken. I pretty much like variations of this type of sandwich wherever I go, usually from Firehouse Subs and Subway. And man, don't they make some fine sandwiches.

I love turkey. I only ever get it once a year, and a turkey sandwich is a special treat for me. I think that this should be number one.

9 Turkey and Cheese

This is a classic that everyone loves!

10 Chicken Salad
The Contenders
11 Tuna
12 Rueben

I'm a bit weirded out about this sandwich and me tasting it for the first time. Nonetheless, it's a pretty good sandwich with an interesting taste that I'll never forget. The Russian dressing or Thousand Island dressing, corned beef, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut is a very sophisticated design for such a sandwich. I'm not a huge fan of it, but I do like the sandwich in some way due to its design and how it tastes somewhat good but not the best.

13 Tuna Salad
14 French Dip
15 Club
16 Meatball

Who doesn't love a meatball sub?

17 Chicken and Lettuce
18 Egg Salad
19 Italian Hoagie

A sandwich including all the cold cuts everyone loves!

20 Banh Mi
21 Tri-Tip
22 Blt-bacon, Lettuce & Tomato
23 Bacon, Egg & Cheese
24 Cuban

I tried these several times, including in a Salvadoran restaurant I always went to when I was younger. And man, they're impeccably tangy and delicious. Cuban sandwiches (depending on where you live) are sometimes made with salami. Typically, they're made with ham, roasted pork, Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard. I'm very grateful for this food invented by the Hispanics.
